And that's fine, but the point limit you have set for getting to Member+ is too high. 250 points is 125 posts on this forum, which takes weeks to months to get organically unless you spend all day on the forum. That's a lot of work to just get access to a bigger games catalogue which is what most of us are here for.

How about they set it back to 750 just like how it was 2 Years ago. Just post in the Lurker hideout and may or may not get reactions but restrain from spamming nonsense in game threads like so many other newcomers do ( which is against the site's rule btw. ) for the sake of getting AC quick..

Right they lowered so much and a user a few hours ago had there avatar everywhere at least 30 post's in 20min.
Yeah spamming one to three word posts in the game threads seems to be common.
It happens to much that mods can't catch everyone of them.
Remember fellow members there is a report button to help.

I've never been charged to be on the site, have i been asked to donate, yes I have.
but i am not in a postilion to donate & if i was I'd be happy to toss some coins into the well.
most noobs have no idea what a precious collection of games & avn's (plus so much more) are here, you wont find this anywhere else & it must be murder keeping it all together.
maybe if you make it in before getting yourself banned for being ignorant you'll realize how wrong you are & at the least offer up a big (sorry dude)

right now, all the latest posts, latest games etc show a top 7 of each.
that's like a widget kind of function, usually, these things have a clickthrough,a "more" button or something
basically the same info, but then in a full grid and paged
don't know if just don't see that, but otherwise i would suggest that.
that way i can easily find a thread i know was in the top 7 this morning but isn't anymore now

ah i could probably code in a scrollbar, but ill be honest that addon is not meant for the version of xenforo we use, that addon was meant for 2.2 we are on 2.3 and so a lot of stuff broken, i just fixed a lot of the site, and semi fixed it, but when my stomach isnt so fucked ill look into adding it.

I have to say i have no problem with it, sucks at first glance but its not hard to make posts and share opinions or ask questions even have a laugh and talk shit with others when appropriate, adds that need to make the first steps to interacting, im sure some people wanna just whack one off and talk to no one which is fine lol thats part of the plan for all of us here at some point

I’m new to the forum. I think it’s a bit excessive, even though they lowered the point limits, but I still think it’s hard to reach the access level.

You can also earn the 500 activity coins and deposit them in the vault to collect interest. Then you can reach member+ in just 162 days with 1% interest! Even fewer days if you keep posting in the meantime.
Though i do also understand the admin's viewpoints on this. Setting the member+ price too low makes people spam, but setting it too high makes people give up. Finding the right balance is never easy in digital economies, especially not when you have to model a "source" and "sink" for it.

My simple take is that you've obviously put in the participation requirement as a protection. It's protection against uncommitted outsiders, a threshold to discourage mindless resource exhaustion, and as brake on uncontrolled growth that can spiral out of control. It's a social solution to your particular set of problems, which means that maintaining it and balancing it and policing it will always cost social effort. In other words, people will always bitch.
I don't think the system is unfair, because I know that running a large site is immensely financially heavy. I'm a professional software engineer so I know how resource-hungry and maintenance-heavy forum software like XenForo can get. So also from that perspective, I think the best way to keep things running smoothly is not to burden the system with non-core features. Investing in performance optimisation, failover, redundancy, reliable backups and so forth is boring, but will also take weight off your shoulders in the long term.

As someone who deleted multiple accounts and saw the start of the coins, 2500 hurts 
Dont ge me wrong, its my own fault for deleting my accounts (first one was grandfathered in. yes, im an idiot. ), isnt 2500 excessive? i think it was like 150 once, and that was too low for sure, and i think it was like 350 or something maybe last time i was around, but 2500? Hot damn.
