Overview:
In Chasing Memories you play as the protagonist who has lost his memory and embarks on a journey to restore it... or he just freeloads and flirts with women and monster girls alike — either works, really.

The combat is turn-based, and heavily inspired by Pokémon-style systems. Each enemy having their own animated moves, with different power, accuracy and status effect chance. Chasing Memories also features a dungeon crawling system — you can explore freely and fight some random encounters, or maybe meet someone special. Who knows? (I know)

Oh, and by the way — if you don't like RPG elements in Ren'Py games, that's fine too. There's a cheat menu you can use to breeze through combat to get to the good stuff.​

Extract and run
This is a quick and small free-for-all update before the big plot push comes in 2/3 weeks.

- Redone the drop-down menu a bit.
- A lot of optimization, especially on Android.
- The Timing Minigame has been made less difficult and more forgiving.
- New content for Nene the Froggirl and the Fairy Sisters.
- New attack animations.
- Main Menu Gallery. If you've seen a scene once, it'll be unlocked there, making it useful for optional scenes.
- You can now fast travel to girls you've met in the Deep Forest, excluding Nene, as she doesn't actually live there.
- Fixed some older sprites, mainly the different Hazel poses and the Myconid sprite. The Myconid meeting CG has also been improved a bit.
- Added a macOS version.
- 2 new characters.
- 2 new quests.
- One new H-scene (with 3 position variants, making it 3 scenes in total).
- The Deep Forest map is now mostly complete. More enemies and events will be added in future updates.
- Revamped experience system. Leveling should feel fairer now, and level-up rewards have been added, including new moves and traits.
- A lot of new moves for the player character and enemies. (Not all have animations yet.)
- Added 1v2 and 1v3 combat. You can now fight more than one enemy at once.
- New enemies.
- Added a Timing Minigame. After choosing a move, a gradient bar appears (red to green with a purple strip in the middle). Landing on the purple strip deals 125% damage and guarantees 100% accuracy.
- Multi-hit moves (such as Rapid Strikes) have been reworked. Instead of luck deciding how many hits you land, it's now entirely based on timing. Landing on the green zone or purple strip guarantees the chain, making 5-hit combos possible with good timing.
- If you dislike the Timing Minigame, you can enable a cheat in the Cheat Menu that automatically lands on the purple strip.
- Bloomkips can now drop items. To trigger the related quest, find the Woobleaf Village and enter the shop.
- The Woobleaf Shop now uses leaves as currency.
- Added 2 new shop-exclusive items.
- Added a **DEFEND** button. Defending halves all incoming damage for the turn, doubles natural AP/MP regeneration, and restores a small amount of HP.
- Some UI polishing.
- The Gallery should now function properly. If it still doesn't, please let the developer know.
- Nene the Froggirl encounter is now repeatable (roughly a 20% encounter chance in the early parts of the Deep Forest).
- Added 2 new Extra Gallery scenes.
- 2 new characters (head east in the Deep Forest).
- 3 new animated H-scenes.
- New enemy.
- Completely reworked UI and parts of the Battle UI.
- New music.
- Added an Extra Animations menu (Patreon only. Requires a code—click the heart icon in the Gallery if you're interested).
- Almost all sex animations have been reworked, with synchronized sound effects for a much better presentation.
- Added a new Mob Village (head north in the Deep Forest). It's still a work in progress.
- Enemies now have abilities. For example, the Blue Slime has a passive chance to slime you after being hit with a physical attack, making combat more interesting.
- Various bug fixes and balance changes. Armor is now less overpowered, Charmed and Slimed have been nerfed, and fire now deals even more damage to plant-based creatures.
- Added a safeguard for the Alraune fight. If you get stuck, you can abandon the quest and try again later.
- Added 2 new items (available in the new Mob Village).
- Added 1 new attack (available when the new weapon is equipped).
- The Bestiary now displays creature stats, moves, and abilities. Hover over the text to view the tooltip.
- You can now sort your moves, move frequently used skills up or down, or unassign moves you don't use.
- 2 new characters (technically 3, but oh well).
- 4 new animated H-scenes.
- New quest.
- New dungeon.
- New enemies.
- New music.
- Reworked battle engine. Please report if it feels too difficult, too easy, or otherwise unbalanced. You can always use the Cheat Menu if you get stuck.
- New dialogue trees for Hazel, Lumi, the Alraune, and Luna.
- Added Sylvia's lore event. Talk to her about wanting some "common knowledge" books, then return to her at night to trigger it.
- Major optimization improvements. The game is now smaller than the previous version despite all the new content, and it should also run better on older systems.
- Added an Android version.
- 4 new characters.
- 4 new animated H-scenes.
- Added a Cheat Menu. Players who don't care about RPG elements can now breeze through encounters. It's available in the Options menu.
- Added a Bestiary, Gallery, and Journal.
- New outfit for the Myconid.

- New hairstyle for Hazel.
- Added a Quest system.
- Added a Day/Night Cycle system.
- Added a Shop system.

It's a Monster Girl RPG! I'm sure you can tell what to expect from the subtitle alone, no?

And yes, the artwork is done by AI. I do sketch to get precisely what I want and edit the shit out of these, though — redrawing eyes, faces, expressions, articles of clothing etc. So it's AI Slop, but nicely seasoned I guess. So you may want to take a bite.
