Everytime I try to update the game via launcher, it gets to the scene_mc.rpa file, downloads to 85%, and then restarts downloading the file, or it just freezes altogether. Anyone else having this issue?

Mime downloaded fine. It did take a while for the download though, but it worked fine for me.

Anyone who hasn't played this game yet should if they're into anime and dramatic storylines. Lots and lots of NSFW but also a great world's been built here and it's worth a try. The music is good too fits the vibe, I keep going back to play the game and end up just letting the music play while I work on other shit.

Better off getting updates right from dev's patreon this game doesn't update on LC as often, there's also an updater in the game's client that works pretty well but it's a little slow. Better than fresh download every few months (updates seem to be that frequent so far so this dev is worth subbing to at least once). Content added is usually a mix of fixes and new content so it's best to wait a few updates if you want to put hours in but the overall story is pretty decent and most characters are likeable with some depth to them not just brainless subservient space fillers. You'll probably get attached to them if you pay attention to the story but for those that just play for the lewd stuff there's a lot of that too and once you get far enough you can do it to your hearts content.
