Summer Scent, Friends in Need, Leaving DNA, are some of the best I have played.

I second Single Again and Now & Then .. mentioned above. Both are great examples of games that overcome the limits of the visuals to be good games.

Lessons in Love for me. The sex scenes are good, don't get me wrong, but it's the story that sucked me in and I'd probably keep playing even if Sensei swore a vow of chastity.

No Mercy (Yes, the cancelled by half of internet) Sort of Justice, Champions of Realm, Summertime Saga, College Craze, Race Of Life, Alpha Omega, Monkey Business, Pandora's Box 1 and 2, Zombies Retreat (haven't checked the sequel, Idk if there is still not a walkthrough) Eternum, My bully is my lover, Seasons of Loss (NTR, has an interesting lore). And I think that's it.

Damn, that's a lot of games who share good lore and romance (besides No Mercy depending the path you select and Seasons of loss)

With most VNs I just speedskip the text (because 95% of them are fucking awful) and unlock the sex scenes before deleting them, but MIST caught me and I went, "Wait, wtf. This looks interesting." Wound up playing it just because it was actually really good. Sex animations are good, too since he got someone to convert a few blender models (like Dva, Mercy, and Tyrande) and is either a decent animator himself or paid someone.

Others were Aurelia, Knightly Passions (which can get dark at times, not abusive, just if you fuck up some parts), and What a Legend. Inquisitor Trainer is also pretty fun if you're a 40k fan.

Sengoku Rance all the way. It definitely got to the point quick where I would FF through all the sex scenes to get back to the gameplay. It's one of the best games I've ever played regardless of it having porn.
