Overview:
Bound by Night is an adult Visual Novel set in the modern world with supernatural elements. It includes six core characters as well as four patron-sponsored characters, all of whom are romanceable. The story combines elements of the the psychological horror and erotic genres, with explicit sex scenes between men and dominant/submissive relationships that can evolve over the course of the story.

A new consent sequence the first time you launch the game, which lets you choose whether to see explicit content with shifters. After you make this initial selection, you can change it in the Preferences menu, and
A variety of bugs and typos fixed in earlier chapters, including a bad transition from a scene with Seth at Connor’s cabin to the garage in Mayhew’s tower.
The new consent sequence should make it much more transparent and reduce confusion as to whether players have opted in or out of explicit content with shifters.
As for the numbers, this is definitely the biggest update I’ve ever done. That’s not an excuse for the amount of time it took to get it to you, but it is huge. We’re looking at almost 2,600 lines of script and code, and more than 700 images! All of that said, there was still more I wanted to do with this update, but at a certain point I have to let go. (Maybe I’ll do a mini-update in a week or two.)
