Military sci-fi for me. I just finished Apocalypse Troll by David Weber. My only regret is that it is a single book novel. I really love to become immersed in stories with huge, deep worlds that go one for years.

the god emperor of Dune is the best book ever. Sadly we will never see it on cinemas

I don't read many novels and whatnots, but I did just read "Conflict is Not Abuse: Overstating Harm, Community Responsibility, and the Duty of Repair" By Sarah Schulman. It probably isn't the book you were looking for, but it is a worthwhile read nonetheless.

Some Fanfics I have been enjoying:
Inheritance by FirstSelector/Pendragoon - Worm fanfic where Taylor accidentally kills The Butcher
Padawan's Return by AhsokaTheBrave - Ahsoka time travel fic

Currently reading/listening to "The Name of The Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. Really amazing story telling.

blue period fanfic, yukachan is the only femboy i respect

The Last Wish: Introducing the Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski

I'm just looking for recommendations. I would like some Sci-fi like The Man In The High Castle or some Magic Realism like 100 Years Of Solitude

Also if anyone knows a good NSFW or erotica... Gay or Straight or any taboo

Have you read Martin's sci-fi novels like Portrait of His Children or Dying of the Light?

I mostly read fanfics now, but one of my favourites series is the inheritance cycle by Christopher paiolini

I am reading the expanse series right now. Currently on the third book Abaddons Gate.

Never heard of it, what's it about?
Portraits of His Children is a collection of short stories(mostly sci-fi and one fantasy story if I recal it correctly), Dying of the Light is a rather big novel that takes place on a dying rogue planet
