What are your personal favs for best writing in a porn game and best writing in a non-porn game?

For porn game I'd throw in Eternum or Lessons in Love. Only games that have made me laugh or actually subverted my expectations.

For non-porn game I'd have a hard time claiming anything other than Disco Elysium to take that crown.

It is a japanese visual novel, but Euphoria is a pretty great game for the story. The art is nothing special (not bad) and includes some disgusting scat fetish, but the story is insane.

I actually think a lot of the visual novels where you have to do several playthroughs to get the propper ending have great stories, this genre exist in none pornography versions as well. Off the top of my head all the games in the nonary games series.

It isn't the best written per se, but for western games I think one of the best at written characters is BaDIK. Theres a shit ton of different people and lots of them seems like real ones, each with their own personality. You could easily see them living in our world.

Porn: Princess Tower (you can find it on f95, doesn't seem to be up here) was really well written, but it was abandoned.
I was really impressed by the writing in Hero Party Must Fall.
I'll definitely be checking out Light of My Life.

Non-porn: Last of Us and Horizon: Zero Dawn.
