DotA. LoL is just a heavily-watered down version. Also, they stole a lot of designs/ideas for DotA heroes.

League is faster paced and, in general, more fun to play with friends and just have a good time.
Nonetheless, i think dota is better gameplay-wise. There are just a lot of mechanics you can learn and get better at. The macro is insane and every role feels absolutely impactful and rewarding to get good at.

Heroes of the Storm really is the most fun moba. It strips away all the stuff that just gets in the way in others. Such a shame Blizzard is not giving it the support it deserves.

dota 2, league is unbearable to be played for me rn, queue times are like 30 mins now. its not helping that ppl are just playing TFT or just went to valorant.

I played Dota 2 and then tried LOL, but I never really fit in with either. The game I ended up liking and played for years was SMITE.
