If I don't collect it before 48 hours then when I do collect it will there be just 2 lc of interest or 4?
in short, do I have to check and collect every 24 hours?

edit: it does not become 4% it stays at 2% until you collect it and another 24h of wait upon collection.

Correct, interest payment is always 2% on collection regardless of time beyond 24 hours you’ve waited, wait a month, get only 2 coins for each 100 in bank.
