My Senior year my school got our first computers, 10 blank Apple computers. They were donated by IBM ("Original" IBM headquarters close by). 10 of us were told to figure out how to make it do something and then teach the teachers what/if we figured out anything.

Oh, and we also got our first "Police Officer" that same year! He was also a local Dairy Farner, past Mayor, current postman, and current Little Legue Coach!

I still find it crazy (im guessing ur in the usa) that schools have their own police, that seems so dystopian compared too where I live, no police, no security nothing at our schools, the "security" would be the teachers/staff 🤣 craziest thing that happened at my school was a animal broke into the school
