alright so i just finished the update but it's not really clear if it was time travel or not to me it seems like he's just seeing that memory from a 3rd person view

Did you take both cave paths? Look at both and it will be more clear.

From another pirate side. It looks that the improvement are 2 Renders and 4 Animation to the beta.

I have no clue on which place the new stuff is (not at the end).

They both show the past. One is about 20 years and the other is closer to 40 years back. Remember that he is coming from the later starting point where he's in his 40s. Not sure how the next chapter will pick it up unless both paths meet back up.

Weird i had only one past vision with the car crash and one with you fleeing the cave and running into a woman that's all.

Yea if you go one of the other directions you fall down a shaft and end up further back.

Well I haven't really been into all of this all that long, so I only really know of two pre-Aldor games, and this is nether of those.

Someone rats you out, sites blacklist you, and payment processors take your money.

Most are lucky they are not raided by police or have their PCs taken for investigations as well.

Basically this developer had enough and decided to only work on Patron slop, and all past games are abandoned.

As said this is a remake aged up version of one of his abandoned games with changes.

Basically this developer had enough and decided to only work on Patron slop, and all past games are abandoned.

As said this is a remake aged up version of one of his abandoned games with changes.

- not just aged up. Family love was also booted out. Ketzldor not just rolled over. He straight up metamorphosed in to... no, not to a beautiful butterfly, he turned in to sea squirt. A creature that in the process of "maturing" ( as some people suggested Ketzldor did ) digests its own brain, loses eyes and becomes immobile blob, that pumps water trough itself till it dies.

It is no wonder that most of the devs that make a certain flavor of game just go dark and check out. It is one thing to be upset that a favorite show/ game/ book series ends or takes a drastic turn, but this type of stuff is very different. How self-absorbed do you need to be to be bitching about an entertainer protecting their income stream or in this particular case their possible freedom.

Westey was a real thing, and 13 was an unsettling close call. Lirius isn't doing great either. So how about some of you die hard brave souls contact these "spineless" devs and make a distribution agreement with them so that you can put yourself in the cross hairs if something goes south?

It's not fair to say "everything that could be deemed risque" when his content is still 100% adult only. The fact that he is producing anything at all after losing his payment processors and getting tossed off discord is not what I would consider a "bitch move". For sure no one has worked as hard to remain "true to form" as Seath, but that is realistically too much to ask for any indie dev.

Maybe I am just a cup half full type, but I respect these guys that come back in any form after getting letters from lawyers. At the end of the day they are making naughty games and not saving the world from the Illuminati or whatever. I just can't go along with asking (demanding) these guys risk legal troubles and in some places actual jail time to make this stuff if they don't feel safe doing so.

Hats off to the guys that have this figured out and keep it coming, but there is no shame at all for a dev that is put in a precarious situation and decides to put his family first.
