PROGRESS REPORT #73
Hello people, welcome to the 73rd progress report!
Lots of work has been done, sadly not enough to have released the test version during the previous dev cycle. All events have been implemented, all side events were tested, additions have been made to the JustAFan page (delaying post generation to overnight, making post generations when picture events are done, message system was implemented, small tutorial event that was a pain in the ass to make was made), new quests were implemented...

Right now I'm working on putting portraits on the remaining side-events, then I'll test the flow of (all) events, and then I'll probably release the first test version. This should happen today, if the aforementioned remaining tasks all go well. I'll also probably stream tonight, as I couldn't stream yesterday.

Unfortunately, since I still have some things to implement and quite a few renders to do, I probably won't be able to release 0.4 during this month. Making testers test the side-events now will surely help though, so that's definitely a plus.

Here's what I have left to do:

Renders for the 2 events that lead to the bedrooms being renovated.
Renders for the shower peek minigame replacement.
Renders for the event where you meet the mayor.
Renders for a spoiler, food-related scene.
Some minor code and interface work for that food stuff.
Code and design for the values of Riley's job rewards.

I'll probably do the last two on stream items of that list tonight, they shouldn't be too time-consuming. The renders on the other hand, will probably take more than 10 days to make, which is a shame. We'll see how much delay there will be in the end, but you can be sure I'll keep working hard to reduce this delay as much as I can.

I think that's about it for today's progress report. See you SoonTM.

Totaly i don't understand this game, go shop 8am, 9am breakfast, 11am cook&lunch,12pm wash the plate, 3p emily&riley, 6pm cook&dinner, 7dinner, 10pm mother or riley on bathroom, available time for work. Just repeated and repeated a day

That's because those are repeated events, which a lot of games have. If you want to follow the story along, follow your quest log. The game doesn't have much content right now though.

Even when I'm not too much into futa, this game and Eruption inminent, made me see the things a little bit different. A pretty good main character with a nice 3D model can do the trick. At least for me. Even if you are not too much into futa give it a try to see the main character. Still it needs a lot of content so we'll have to wait a lot I think.

PROGRESS REPORT #74
Hello people, welcome to the 74th progress report!
Since we're in June it should come as no surprise, the May deadline hasn't been met. I'm still glad to say that I wasn't too far off though, as we're getting very close to a release.
On the last progress report, I told you guys that I didn't have time to prepare an alpha for the testers. Well, since then I released 5 alpha builds and the game has never looked like 0.4 than it does now!

The new cooking system changes are implemented and stable (including the small extra necessary changes like editing the "Errands with Eve" scene), the new quests have been implemented, the new location backgrounds, the ability to upgrade, all the scheduled scenes, even the story scenes, the new overlay buttons... All of that is now included in the current build.
Compared to the list I shared last progress report, here's what I have left to do:

Renders for the 2 events that lead to the bedrooms being renovated.
Renders for a spoiler, food-related scene.
Some minor code and interface work for that food stuff.
Code and design for the values of Riley's job rewards.

Unfortunately, I had forgotten an item on the list, and that's what I've been working on for the last few days: finishing the renders for the events linked to Riley's JustAFan page. I've been making very good progress though, and I think I'll be done with the renders today. So either tonight or tomorrow night, I'll go on stream and finish the necessary code to finish everything related to Riley's JustAFan page (the last item on the list).

Oh, something I need to mention: So as I said in a previous progress report, the build that will first come out is a Beta build. I will, like I always do, release a build 2 weeks to a month later that will include improvements thanks to player feedback, and the extended time I'll have gained to work on the build. However for the first time, I decided to lock the beta build to employee supporters ($5) and above. The goal is to reduce the number of beta players so I have an easier time gathering feedback, and I figured that this first draft will be better handled in the hands of people willing to thoroughly test it and provide feedback. I hope that makes sense.

Let's talk release date now: I think I'll be done with everything by the first half of June. Hopefully I'll even have a few extra days to add some polish to the build, we'll see how it goes. It's been a while since you guys had a spoiler render though, so here's one:

Seems like Riley is as excited for the build as you guys! :D

That's it for today's progress report. I'll see you guys on stream very soon :)
Later!

Then you should be looking at games with male protagonist only then and not looking at games with female/futa trans protagonist tags.
Me looking at some games i wont play is just curiosity killed the cat type of thing.

How is the android port only 84mb? Some sort of compression witchcraft.

A HOME IN THE DESERT - 0.4BETA1 RELEASE!
Hello everyone, here we are! The long-awaited 0.4 (beta) release is finally upon us!
I hope you guys will enjoy it. It was a long development cycle for me, but a very satisfying one nonetheless, for a few reasons. One of them is that the game has never looked as much like a proper game as it does now, and I feel like this update is a huge step towards what will become a stable platform for Alice to blossom into the delighful pervert she is meant to become. :p

Now I understand releasing such a big update raises some questions among the players, so I might as well answer them now:

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
This update's highlights are:
A large amount of new events, especially compared to the previous updates. There is twice as much dialogue in this update as there was in 0.2, which was the initial public release, and the was the biggest release in terms of scenes before that one.
The introduction of Riley's career as a JustAFan model. This is the first baby step towards making money out of sex work, and it's quite symbolic as it's meant to be a major theme in the game.
Many new "scheduled" events, with the goal in mind to make the house feel alive and busy at all times. There are still a few holes here and there in some of the girl's schedule, but they are now more present than absent, and it's pretty nice :D.
A new look for the overlay buttons. This is mostly for aesthetic purposes, but this was also necessary to support the future collectable system.
Simplifying the cooking system: no more calculating the batch size, no more carry weight in the shop, who to cook for... The cooking system is overall way more straightforward and simple than it was before.

Now, some major items didn't make it in the beta, but will be implemented for the full release:

Bedrooms renovation. Some characters will require their bedrooms to be renovated to start their job path. The new bedrooms also look way better than they do pre-renovation. This comes with a few main story events of course.
Said main story events. Those are implemented in dialogue inside the game, but they lack renders (and they may not be plugged into a quest either).
Cooking extension. If you make Alice work behind the stove one evening, a bright idea might come to her... This is just an extra scene for now, but this will have its use in future updates.
Music/Sound, this is a way more time-consuming thing to do than it may seem, and it will be done during the pre-release work.

WHY SUCH A LONG DEVELOPMENT CYCLE?
Well, the sad part was that I was originally planning this one to be shorter. At first I was only meant to work on the new overlay system, and the new schedule for the girls, but during the development cycle I thought that it wouldn't make sense to extend the girl's schedule if I didn't also add Riley's job introduction (as most of Riley's occupation is to take pictures), but then I also needed to make her JustAFan website, and then... Basically, it became a huge snowball effect to make this update make sense and be consistent.
In the end, it's not like I slacked off or anything, you still got extra things out of this long dev cycle, but I understand waiting so many months for an update is frustrating.

CLOSED BETA? THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!
Yes, it's the first time I limit the release to a supporter tier. This is done for 2 reasons:
First, limit the feedback to a certain number of people who might be really motivated to play the release. This will make whatever feedback I receive easier to manage, I think.
And second, I don't want the "general public" (meaning people who might not properly read release posts :p) to get a wrong idea about this update. This beta doesn't really reflect how much work has been put into it after all (yet), especially with the major missing things I have yet to implement.

KNOWN ISSUES...
Again, this is a beta, things won't be perfect. My to-do list however is quite extensive, so chances are if you see something that can be perfected, it will be in due time.
Feel absolutely free however to provide feedback whenever you feel like it, or if you feel like it's relevant.

SO MANY WORDS, SO LITTLE LINKS...
Sorry the links are in an other castle, I mean, post!

But before you go...

PROGRESS REPORT #76
Hello people, welcome to the 76th progress report!

First of all a warm welcome to the new supporters that came along. I know you guys are here for the update, but still, thank you for your support! I hope you enjoyed what you've seen of the update so far, but know that it's only going to get better (and slightly bigger).

Work is going well. There has been a few bugfixes (thanks to the people who reported them!), a few improvements, more items added to my to-do list, and a few items removed.
First things first, I'm gonna be honest: I took a small break the few days following the release. I thought maybe it could be a sign that the update came out a Friday, and after some reflection I thought... Maybe I should take the weekend off.
In the end I still worked, but very little and I also did a lot of feedback gathering. So it was a nice weekend. After the pre-release crunch that I put myself through, I think I really needed it tbh.
Now as far as actual work goes, as I said I fixed some bugs, like being able to enter the bathroom while Angelina is inside, I fixed some typos, and prepared the necessary stuff for me to implement the last events.
There was some interface work to do for the cooking expansion which is done and implemented, there was a bit of writing to do which is now half done, I converted the ladder (in the basement) to the new overlay look... It's a lot of small details that need to be fleshed out.

Anyway, I'm probably boring you with those details...
I always take notes on my "ideas" file, but it's human to be more inspired on some times more than others. Well I've been quite inspired those last few weeks and I came up with quite a few new ideas to spice the game up a bit.
It's kinda weird. I mean, don't get me wrong, I always know where the game is going. But prior to those last few weeks, it's like I subconsciously wasn't allowing myself to be creative, and that some kind of blockage has been lifted. I think it's because I now have all those huge things done (new bedrooms, new schedule system...) that I can now implement basically anything I want. Like I was preserving myself from the frustration of not being able to do the things I just got inspired of doing.
I hope I'm making sense? Well the short version is: I've been very inspired those last few weeks and it's a good thing for you guys ^^.

I can't wait to tell you what my plans are when the full release comes out.
In the meantime, I have a lot of work to do... So I'll leave it at that :) See you guys soon :)

Hello people, welcome to the 77th progress report!
An other 10 days have passed, and more work has been done.
First I worked on fixing last-minute bugs and finished implementing the update (along with adding minor improvements) before releasing a second beta in the middle of the last dev cycle.
After which I immediately started work on the last remaining renders for the events that are missing them. There are 4 events that currently don't have renders right now:

- First "new bedrooms" event
- Second "new bedrooms" event
- Stanley's call
- Cooking extension scene

I picked the longest scene to work on first, which is the second new bedrooms scene, and as I'm writing those lines I'm 80% done with it.
My goal is to be done with all the renders by the 10th of July, and to release the full version on the 15th. I guess I'm going to be crunching again...
Rest assured that whatever happens the full release will be on the 15th. Now all I have to do it work my ass off so the full release is actually full...

I think I'm going to keep the progress report short today. Take care, enjoy the spoilers if you're a supporter, and... Thank you for your support :)

one of the more unique concepts ive seen, looking foward to more updates

Ambitious project, will take a will to get anywhere, but I like it!

Ah I see another Futa with a huge dick game. Seems these games sure are popular lately.

Incredibly promising, hopefully within time and the content coming this become a solid game, the models are great and the overall idea as well, nice map navigation and HUD, the menu is also really clean.

So, what kind of futas does this game have? Like do they just have dicks, or is it pussies and dicks?
