It's because an influx of site traffic due to the pinned thread. Just give it a while, it's slowly getting faster

Having the same issue, I'd imagine (with no solid reason for thinking so) that it's due to the new policy for members having to post 35 replies for certain privileges. Might be causing major traffic the site has not experienced before.

Oh, first I heard otherwise. good to hear that it isn't the increased traffic. Maybe whatever else it was has been addressed... it seems to be a bit faster now. Well, here at least

Seems to have cleared up on my end, as well... It was pretty slow for a while there but it seems more or less normal now.
