I think I tried this a very long time ago. Don't remember why I gave up on it, but I have to try it again because all the girls are so beautiful ....

I remember now. It was about a year and a half ago. There wasn't any animation, and no sex with any of the younger girls (youngest girl is eighteen I think). Anyway, will try it again because they are all so beautiful and it's an interesting story.

Same, usually it's just another few days for that to be updated too. For the past couple years now if there's no incest or lolis or patched to include those then I have no interest, it's why Such a Sharp Pain is the measuring stick I use to judge all other AVNs.

You seem like a man who knows his way around here, I'm on the lookout for any games that have wholesome ish themes or at least some nice elements, I guess? Ideally a game with not too much drama, I also guess. Kind of like this game, Such a Sharpe Pain to a degree, uh insert a nice game here.

Yeah that would be awesome. But lately it seems like it's another AVN suffering from "LI creep". Seldom does a story need more than 8-10 LI's to tell it. And I thought new LI's were done being added when the right stat column filled the right of the screen. Nope, just another one was added to the left *sigh*. While I'm waiting on MC to fuck his real daughter (Brenda irrc), it's now mostly the Felicia show (fake daughter without the ipatch), and all the other so-called LI's feel like side chics in comparison as usually happens when you have this many. The title probably will be coming not from the MC's 16-year prison sentence, but because it will take 16 years to actually flesh out this many LI's (which instead of doing so simply more and more are being added) and give it a proper ending without it feeling rushed.

I don't know how that would be done, as then instead of a game over screen it would simply crash without just a mod but a total rework. A walkthrough is far easier to make/use, and simply don't click red choices when it says "game over" on it.

I mean I assume you would just remove the game over and let players go the dark route, but maybe the game is constructed in a way I don't understand. Feels like with the linear mode they could have just made it so you could choose any option but stay on the dark paths.

I think theres some confusion, I don’t remember but some choices probably cause a game over. However I’m asking for something to make it so that going below a certain value will not equal a game over.

Maybe I'm dense and missed something, but I was starting the game over, and noticed that the ipatch wasn't working.

Poked around a little, and found an older version of the WT+ipatch mod, and I noticed that there's a script.rpy in the older version that's missing from the newer version of the mod.

So I grabbed that script.rpy from the old version and added that to my /game folder, and now it seems like the ipatch is working.

Good game overall. Nice variety of girls and none are horribly unattractive. The story isn't anything to write home about, it just exists to help the MC do what he does.

Well, the big difference I notice is one is crappy HS and this is Daz. Not the best example of Daz, but plenty good enough. As far as AVNs being ripoffs of other AVNs, blame Patreon and the devs that cater to them. With all their restrictions options to make a non-boring story that hasn't been done before already are pretty limited at this point. Even movies have suffered the same problem for decades now, only the restrictions come from what is legal to be shown in various cinemas or what they are willing to run and the sheer number of them (over 690k). It's why you now mostly get sequels, remakes, fan fiction, comic book ripoffs, and ones they are obviously inspired by other movies. and lately with onyl 11 main genres if you've already watched maybe 5-10 the best examples of each then you've basically seen them all as far as stories go, unless you like remakes with better special effects.

Not at the beginning, no. It seemed like the color coding didn't kick in until a few days into the game, though there were numerical values for how much a given decision would change a girl's affection score right from the beginning.

I ended up doing the same thing you did, so it's working fortunately.

Personally I'm not a fan of hair that makes them look like boys with tits. Most often the only use for short hair with Daz models is it's easier to deal with and quicker to render.

You mean because the update came out in April 28th and no one has leaked it as of July 30th.

yeah it happens sometimes that a dev has no public version and no one leaks it either. In those situations I just wait a few years until it's completed (assuming it is) and then sub once if I really want it and can't cum without it (which seldom happens).
