2D at the moment. Too many 3D games using the same models (they basically blur together)....that being said, 2D games or unique non-DAZ art typically has a longer dev cycle. Be prepared to wait.
Cartoonishly large breasts are more funny than hot. Obviously fake breasts (can easily tell it's mostly a stuffed implant) are more of a turn off than on.
I'll have to go dig around. Off the top of my head, Love & Sex Second Base and Monster Girl Tavern are up there....quite a few people like Grandma's House even though it isn't animated. etc. But yeah....I'm with you on the animations front. They separate the best games from the pack.
They're fine unless it is extremely obnoxious pixel hunting to unlock shit etc. Achievements for paths/endings that result in a % complete are a good way to track if you've played the entire game.
Poon games....probably the NLT stuff outside of games I've beta tested for.
Console games....there's probably a pile of old NES and Sega Genesis games I've got thousands of hours on. LOL

Yes and no.....if you want to make money as a game dev, they are pretty much required. If you only use dogshit premade DAZ animations (the same generic doggystyle pose etc), they can actually detract from the game.
I've never played, but I watched once....maybe start there to see if it something you'd get into. I had no idea what was going on but the beer was cold. :D
