I think the ending is not that bad at all.
All the (sub) storylines have ended and the ending is like "and they lived happily ever after"...
If he would have continued it would have appeared forced...
Stopping at chapter 2 or 3 would have been to early IMHO
I understand that, but I've seen some games made in unity where I think: "You're only doing very simpel binary choices in a popup every time and no fancy animation stuff etc: why not renpy, it appears to me to be not that difficult to learn just the basics for that.

To be honest: I no longer care about size. I have more than enough bandwidth and diskspace to handle anything.
I hate it though when images are so compressed it appears as if they are blurred....
I sometimes see games where I'm wondering: why did you pick that game engine (renpy/unity/java/...) where another game engine would have been so much easier for the type of game you're developing.
Genres I don't like I won't play.
What I "hate" in games is having to start all over again after each update because the dev found it necessary to somehow break the savegames.
If you know you're going to do that, develop a way to import them in your new version.
