It depends on whether or not the game has a visible protagonist. Nonvisible ones usually get a silly name related to the theme of the game. Visible ones get a name that matches their appearance.
I've played lots of games and only ever supported three on a site like Patreon. I regret crowdfunding unfinished games at this point so I'm never going to do it again.
Doom 3. It was just before Doom 2016 came out. It's full of dumb spawns and terrible mechanics but the worst thing is that it just doesn't feel like a Doom game.
It's inevitable that there are some women on a site this size but it doesn't really matter. None of us will ever meet up in person and if we ever did we'd all be apprehensive towards shaking hands with a fellow user.
Forums were always better than social media. People coming together for a shared interest can have interesting discussions when the rules are somewhat lax. Get a control freak at the helm of a forum and it ruins the experience.
The title had me expecting something along the lines of Agarest War. There are management style games that allow you to play after the birth of characters. Stationmaster and the Strive games come to mind. You can have an entire harem of your own children if you want but I don't even want to...
Bad dialogue. That's what caused me to quit playing most of the games I've played. It's good that anybody and their dog can make a game using Ren'Py but maybe don't leave the dog in charge of writing the script.
Ren'Py is a good safe one. I've only played like three games where they were completely broken which is almost impressive.
WolfRPG tends to have some of the better RPGs. Better mechanics than RPGM but fewer games. This could just be due to better developers using it.
Unity/UE/Godot tends to...
Strive 1 and 2 are pretty up there, if not at the top. I prefer Strive 2's gameplay loop but it took a while to get used to the changes. Now that I understand it I like it more.
