    Thinking back on my favourites, I think 2D is my go to, and the 3Ds that make it into my favourites are the exceptions. I find it's the concepts of what's occurring, not the visuals themselves, that matter more.

    What I want to know is does it round up or round down? If you have 150 coins in there and you get 1%, do you get 1 or 2?

    Animated or not?

    Either put in a good animation, or do no animation and spend the effort on expanding the game in other ways. Mid or poor animations don't contribute to a scene, IMO.

    I used it, it added the correct amount (just 2 coins) to the amount I had in there when I clicked it.

    Single playthrough or branching paths?

    Either single playthrough or have two distinct paths that don't cross over (like Love and Corruption paths) so you can just go with one or the other at the start and never change. Having a great number of variations of scenes or conditions for unlocking scenes is not a good thing with games...

    If they grant some benefit like upgrade points so they're an option to grind ahead of the level you'd be at through normal progression, then I like them.

    For a kinetic novel style game, I'd rather not get locked out of content, so I don't mind not having choice, but then why give the illusion of choice?
