    If I'm playing a VN, I don't expect gameplay. In fact, it's kinda annoying when there is some. But for RPG or any of the touching style games, I know what to expect, so I like having the extra stuff to do. That's the work for the reward of the lewd stuff. Don't make it too grindy though.

    Comedy is hard because people have different expectations for what's funny. I find a lot of porn game comedy to be cringe. Though, a few have had little quips that have been well done. A good writer can do it, but it probably isn't the target audience to begin with.

    My preference is to have one first off. A lot of games don't. And when there is one, I prefer to earn it during the story. I always use it as a checklist to make sure I didn't miss anything, so having some hints as to what unlocks a particular scene is nice.

    I think it's far to easy to join a server that gets flagged for something inappropriate and then everyone in the server is punished, regardless of if you actually even engaged with anything there. Best strategy is to have a throw away account for lewd servers and be prepared to create a new one...

    I never pay attention to the ratings. I'll read the comments, tags, and look at the screenshots. Not having screenshots is a big one.
