Way over 90% of all AVN developers never made anything from Patreon or any other platform. There's just too many restaurants and not enough paying customers. I think the point of my post might have been missed. Not surprising - I tend to ramble and go off-topic quite easily. Anyway. Supporters should not be thinking a subscription is buying something. Nearly all games of this genre can be downloaded, for free, somewhere. LC, F-95, LewdZone...- cynist

I have no idea how you conflate an AVN with a cake. It could, in a way, be seen as similar to a car payment or mortgage, but supporting is completely voluntary. No one is made to support. If you don't want to support, don't support. It is painfully obvious you've never tried to make an AVN...- cynist

There are several common reasons a creator will abandon an AVN. 1. They get bored or lose their muse. It happens. Creativity wanes, especially for those of us that have it burn pretty brightly for a while. When we have to take a break, and then try to come back to it... the story is just gone...- cynist

I'm working on it. Admittedly, it's been slow. I wrenched my back yesterday so laid up right now. I'll likely be showing some 0.9 previews to subs in the next week. There's no set dates for anything yet. -

I've not seen those options. There is a recompile to create new .rpyc files, but that is only necessary in the compiling program itself while it is being tested. When the actual build of the game is done, it goes through and does a complete recompile as the first part of the building process... -

Yep. Definitely possible. No idea what that means. The builds go into folders based on the version listed in the options.rpy script. When I get a chance, I'll look into it. No guarantees. I'm Elon Musk when it comes to coding - I get other people to do it so it makes me look good. -

Don't know at this point. There's no scheduled release date for 0.8 public. There's no scheduled release date yet for the 0.9 for supporters. It's written, just not imaged or animated. RL has been kicking my ass in 2025 so far. -

There is no "bool" anywhere in my code. The exact same code is in the PC/Linux and Android versions, and there's been no report of errors, let alone this one. The error is either a corrupted download, an incorrect installation on the client computer, a corruption in the file itself, or there is... -
