Sound in Games
I like the when there's background music, as long as it isn't obnoxious. But voices and moans are almost always really poorly recorded or just sound strange... no like. There are some AVNs that I've nearly fallen asleep to because I was just reading a damn picture book at that point.- garbago

What does CTRL do? lol Seriously though, I use it on a second playthrough, or when I'm going back and trying other branches in the dialogue. Or if it's got some grindy stuff that I've seen 30 times now...- garbago

2d or 3d
So far, I prefer 2d, since there seems to be a higher baseline of quality. There are plenty that look like trash, but I like doujins, so I like the art style. 3d when done well is incredible, but the uncanny valley is a steep one to get out of sometimes...- garbago

Do Animations improve a game?
I think animation improves the experience. Whether is DAZ or hand-drawn or whatever, it always looks nice to see a bit of movement. I think that AI can help create them, but I agree it is noticeable when it's done poorly. That and looping the animation. Do a short looping .gif or .webp animation...- garbago

Animated or not?
Animated for sure would be ideal. I know it's more difficult, but (controversial opinion maybe) some of the AI tools out there today could help turn some static keyframes into a passable animation. I've seen a few where they're taking the rendering and using AI to give it motion. That way the...- garbago

Do you prefer 2D or 3D games?
I go for more 2D hand-drawn style, since I read a lot of doujins and I like the art style. 3D can be good, but I find that the uncanny valley effect is really strong if it isn't done well. That can really ruin a game.- garbago
