I was bored and found f**z**. Downloaded something and it was OK enough to try some more. Got to Ecchi Sensei and Neko Paradise and was all in and hooked.
mini games or puzzles? Puzzles without any connection to the game, that's a no for me. Easy mini games that relate to and advance the story I don't mind. But too much or too hard and I get frustrated and quit. I KNOW "hard" is usually what you want but not for mini games.
My favorite type of game is a well done sandbox. It gives me another level of immersion. My least favorite is a poorly done sandbox... cause they just suck hard. I would imagine open world/ sandbox games are multiple levels of complexity harder to create. Props to thosw devs who do it well.
For me it depends on the quality of the writing and how well it enhances the immersion. Based on that it is anything from skip everything to read every line.
