Why We Do This
I think I like the feeling of empowerment, of being the protagonist and being able to affect things in a very concrete way. I also think it's one of my favourite ways to present a story, by being on the inside and interacting rather than being put on the outside of the narrative and observing...- ClumsyBear

Is something broken in you? Do you wonder why you like these kinds of game+ games.
I think even the term fantasy is getting at the right idea, but maybe doesn't capture the whole picture. Fantasy, to me at least, sounds like something that I would actually pursue in my perfect version of reality- I fantasize about being on a beach with a daiquiri because I would love for that...- ClumsyBear

What game do you have the most hours in and how many hours?
For me, it's Total War Warhammer 3, although my hours count is garbage since I have left it running in between turns on a regular basis. When I was working from home, it would often be running in the background for when I had downtime.- ClumsyBear
