Yes, sandbox elements can be really annoying and kill the fun out of the game. Unless of course you like to be blueballed and think waiting or grinding requirements is exciting.
Another fan of many kinks I guess. If you would play any kink then there is not much to warn you about besides the games which do not carry any tag you find exciting. And you would also have to define what properties you specifically mean by "good".
They would not be the first creator who goes dark for a while or forever and it does not necessarily mean they died.
And yes, their games are great in content, style and humor and I would also love to see them being continued.
That does not sound like remake to me. It's more like cancel and restart. If devs did not keep their promises in a cancelled version I would not trust they would do so in the restarted one?
Didn't know about the additional options when Shift-starting a Ren'Py game. I am forcing the DirectX renderer and disabled powersave for now. The warning did not repeat since then. So big thanks for that.
Just got this screen in some random Ren'Py game on a rig with an i9-14900KF and a RTX 4090. Should I upgrade?
Just kidding. Ren'Py is making fun of me. Have fun in this thread.
You must be registered for see element.
That depends. If the animations aren't choppy and of similar image quality to the still images they do. If the still images are of good quality and interrupted by choppy and blurry animations they do not and would better be left out.
If I was that creative my game would happen in a world without reservations for any kink. This would also require workarounds for certain unlucky outcomings related to the implemented kinks.
I like walkthroughs for path selection and aiming for certain endings. If a game requires a walkthrough to simply play through it is either poorly designed or written.
