I knew Brandon Sanderson had a new stormlight book coming out but didnt realise it was already out!
Just finished reading the Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie. Great first book for those who want to try a bit of grim dark fantasy.
I haven't played this game since the first couple of updates. Don't know why as the reviews have always been consistently high.
Time to play catch up
;)
On "other" certain websites its starting to feel like quantity over quality. Trying find a interesting is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Can be quite frustrating at times.
A bit of grind is fine when you get tangible payoffs, bonuses or cut scenes. Grinding mechanics just to make the game longer without these benefits are awful
Maybe its because of the sheer volume of 3d games. But I find a lot of 3d games just look similar to each ( same character models, backgrounds etc). Ironically making 2d games more unique and stylized.
80-90% of the games have generic story lines. Its not like reading a good book when you put down for half a year and try to remember the page where you left off.
If AAA we are referring to 20+ hours of game time, quality graphics and great gameplay mechanics and story. It would be difficult to relate these measures around a game where the end goal is to get nutted.
Don't hate it. But agree about its soullessness and how generic it looks.
