    What's the best balance between game file size and image compression?

    This is just something I'm curious about. Some games are going out with 4k renders which look great, but is it really necessary when it makes the file size so much larger? I've gone for the unofficial compressed versions a few times and can barely notice the difference.

    Single playthrough or branching paths?

    I tend to prefer single playthrough more. Branching can be good if the gameplay is solid & the choices offer different/unique experiences. The other outlier here are the sandbox games (like Headmaster or Summertime Saga) that has an explorable world to unlock interactions.

    One idea that's recycled over and over (at least in the incest kink) is the MC returning home from some absence to mother/sister/daughter

    Sounds rarely add anything for me. It's usually the same recycled generic sounds that don't often fit the scene.

    It depends on the time between the save and picking it up again, how long the game is overall, and if I just want to replay from the start.

    It looks like it gets about two updates per year, usually they're quite large. Last update was ~3 months ago, so maybe another update in the Fall.

    This game unlocked an interest that I didn't know I had. A considerable amount of gameplay already with regular updates makes this a solid recommendation from me. Just need a few more of the girls added to the punishment system...

    Currently, You must be registered for see element. is one I've been following for a few years that gets regular updates. I'd love for Summertime Saga to get an update, but at this point I just consider it abandoned.

    Sound on/off

    There's a big disparity in the quality of sounds & music in games, so it's always dependent on the game itself. Usually I have to take the music to 50% as a default, and lower the sounds quite a bit (especially if it's just some canned moaning that doesn't add much for me).
