    I just can't relate to the characters. Emotions and sexuality are either repressed or hyper-exaggerated. Alien cultural norms about deference and taboo in conversation strongly color all the conversations. It's like watching porn made by and for extraterrestrials. I might as well be watching...

    I really liked Where the Heart Is. I actually had to start it, again, to remember whether or not the mc is shown. In contrast, WVM's black-rectangle is vaguely Lovecraftian.

    I'll check out abandoned games if people are still mentioning them. That's how I found out about Corruption Time, I think. (It has an interesting art style, and just barely enough content to be worth trying, I think.)
