I usually try ongoing games to see if they are good and then wait for them to be completed or to have a complete part/season before playing again.
When I played ongoing games regularly I had to start over way to many time because of broken saves.
I don't know if it's still in the game as I haven't played for years now but back then there were built in cheat to instantly teleport and to increase all your stats with any girl and allowed to play the game with no grind at all
There is still new good games with unique stories being released but since it's so easy to make games nowadays a lot of people take the easy way and try to milk as much patreon money while doing the least amount of work possible so it's harder to find the good ones

I think the bank should get a ceiling to the amount you can have in it 1%/day interests is actually insane when you look a what happen over time.
If you put your free 150 LC in the bank and get interests every day, after 1 year, you have 5667LC, after 2 years you have 214 138LC and that's...
I hate when the devs are so bad that your save get broken every other version and you have to start back from the start. One of the reason why I rarely play games that are not complete anymore
If its 3d there is no reason not to animate it as long as it's well done. If it's drawn/2d, I usually prefer still images.
I also think game with animation should always compress their files and either provide a lighter still only version or an update only patch, it's a pain to download a badly...
