Not a fan. If the option is there to skip them pretty much skip them every time. If no option to skip and they become to tedious, or time consuming, or you have to repeatedly play them to get enough points to progress, and they don't really add anything to the overall game it may be time to...
I like Dev interaction, especially if that interaction helps you play the game. For example, by providing hints, pointing out bugs that have been fixed, answering questions, etc.
I prefer playing a VN with a Walkthrough Mod or in-game walkthrough because for me it just makes the game more enjoyable and helps make decisions so I don't miss content or go down a path I may not want to go.
Games that do not let the player skip forward or scroll back. Why would a Dev do this? Shouldn't it be up to the player to decide if they want to skip something or want to go back to check on something or change something when playing the game?
Depends on how much I like the game, and so long as I can fast forward through the parts I have already played I don't have a major problem playing again from the start. However, if it is a game I'm not too interested in then it just becomes annoying and I drop it.
I always mute the music. As for the other sounds I will mute these as well, or if I want to hear them in the background I will set them to a very low level.
I really like having a walkthrough available, and see no reason why any game should not have a walkthrough, either ingame or mod, that the player can choose to turn on or off so that they can play the game the way they want to.
I prefer larger content but slower updates. Frequent updates with little content I just find annoying, and if I still like the game will often just pass on several updates before playing the game again.
It doesn't really bother me so long as the story and characters are good, and several others have already mentioned for me it is kind of funny when I even notice it.
