Renpy or Unity ?
for VN's Renpy, not just cuz its simpler but also cuz it works on ALL operating systems outta the box. for sandbox games, its a bit more complicated todo them on Renpy, but I'd still go for Renpy personally because making Unity work on all operating systems is a HELL! Why do developers abandon games?
either because its not financially viable to continue working on it, or just because they lost motivation on that game, and dont feel like working on it anymore. which trust me happens alot, not just to game developers but to alot of different fields aswell.- okok42690

Lighting vs realism in games

Lighting vs realism in games
Lighting is a big part of realism and unfortunately people always get it wrong. making things darker/harder to see doesn't make it more "realistic" it only hides the imperfections and makes it more "moody" and sometimes Temo level cinematic. for actual realism, lighting just has to be accurate...- okok42690
