I sometimes see games where I'm wondering: why did you pick that game engine (renpy/unity/java/...) where another game engine would have been so much easier for the type of game you're developing.
Genres I don't like I won't play.
What I "hate" in games is having to start all over again after each update because the dev found it necessary to somehow break the savegames.
If you know you're going to do that, develop a way to import them in your new version.
