    Hand Drawn vs 3D vs Pixel art, which one is your favorite?

    Good 3d is usually my favorite, but its also so accessible that it can be very lazy and bad. Whereas with hand drawn you have to have a lot more artistic vision to even start so its rarely bad. I've not come across too many pixel art games that are compelling to me but I'm not against it.

    Oh yeah I've played plenty of games that have good points systems. But I've also played plenty that are simply pick the option with the points, have points to see sex, with no further nuance just get point or don't. Those are the problem to me, though tbf its often new devs that end up fixing...

    Most points mechanics where its just choose the option that gives +1 love stat, as if I'm not just gonna use a mod/walkthrough. Just make it a kinetic novel and write well enough people get invested instead.

    What a Legend is great. Price of Power is good but light on sex. Love of Magic is one of my favorites. My Pig Princess is great if you don't mind the anthropomorphized animals part. Seed of Chaos is a cool inversion wear you play as the bad guy conquering the land.

    Hot Take but I actually like less impactful fewer choices. If there's big branching paths then I get analysis paralysis. I dropped Retrieving The Past for like a month because I didn't want to make a path choice. I just want to be told a story and see some hot scenes.

    When I have to slog through pages of boring writing and terrible worldbuilding to get to the sex. Either write better or write less.
