Do you prefer games with multiple choices that affect the story or a linear story where choices don't affect anything?
I've experienced 3 kinds of games with choices: - Illusion of choice: Where choices don't matter. If the choice isn't meaningful, why even allow the player to make choices. - Choices matter, "lazy way": choice sets a variable and you experience or miss content depending on that value. This is exactly what I think. Imagine reading a book, and half way through it reading about how the protagonist kissed a dog and saying "that does it" while closing the book and leaving it forever :cautious: One must respect the author's idea because it's their story. -

Was there a game you have played with multiple LI paths, but you stopped after the first because you felt like you were cheating on the first one?
Intense! I do that with sandbox games like the ones in the Fallout, Deus Ex, Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead series... but not with AVNs.
