    I'll join the "hate RPGM with all my heart" wagon. Empty worlds, endless grind, convoluted stories that absolutely REQUIRE walkthroughs if you don't want to waste hours of your time, the only exceptions to these games are the very rares ones that absolutely abandon the standards like Cohabitation.

    Not much choice out there besides the big 3. At this stage I do count Witch Trainer Silver as a separate game from the original Witch trainer and while the original was nice, WTS definitely ranks as the best Hermione game for me.

    I prefer games with multiple choice that impact the story. Nothing against VN with a linear story and I have enjoyed some of them but if a choice has no impact, it is meaningless and wasted development time and resources in my opinion.

    Most commonly i'd say to go for endless remakes (goddamn Lust and Power is such a example of this). I don't tend to see paywalls or endless grind added mid development, those usually are present from the start but it could cause me to drop the game if it was ever added.
