    Definitely Ren'py, also RPGM. Sometimes I'll play Unity games but my PC is shit, not even mentioning Unreal Engine.

    I always play in english even if my language is available. I like it more anyway, and most VNs are only playable in english.

    Ren'py for me, my PC is complete trash, it gets super hot when I play a lot of Unity games. Still, if they are interesting I'll play them regardless.

    Sound on/off

    Most low quality VN usally are completely silent, compered to higher quality ones which usually have a great sound design. For music it's kind of hit or miss, one of the best examples that come to mind is Neko Paradise.
