Does anyone usually skip parts of visual novels? If so, what parts?

Based. It is a bit sad that many of the devs/artists that go for pubic hair also add armpit hair, I also hate it. -
Do ratings affect whether you download a game?
It does affect it for me. I don't need a game to be perfected rated with 100 essays explaining why it is a 5 star, but I don't think I ever enjoyed a game with a rating below 3.- Ashwind

How long is too long for a game to have an update...?
If it takes so long that I forget who the characters are or what happened in the story then I'm unlikely to pick it up again. How long does it take for me to forget those things depends on how interesting the game was in the first place so it depends from game to game.- Ashwind
