As the title says, give me some ideas on some true donator benefits, by true i mean you wont be able to obtain these "perks" without donating, id love to code in some of the user submitted perks just need to get some ideas.

also with this said, all the prestige ranks will be removed from the shop and newer ranks will be replacing them, ones where you can not buy with AC.

We want nude pics of you.

I'd look to Discord for inspiration. Nitro boosts could be translated into boosting a game's visibility. Other perks change how users can express themselves, with more emojis or longer messages. I'm not sure how to translate those to XenForo, but emoji packs exist, and maybe there are existing limits that can be lifted or made more generous for donors.

Users are not only fans of LC but also of the games they find on here. People who are excited by a game will want to talk about it, post reviews, and suggest it to more people. Giving donors more tools to rave about their favorite content or increase its visibility would be nice, I think. This, in turn, could be beneficial for the developers of those games.

Something that ef 95 ran into was devs mass reviewing their own games to push up numbers, and I feel like this would just be that times 1000. It would have to be policed so heavily so that devs were not just boosting their own shit to the top.

Quite frankly I can't think of any shiny bits or bobs that would "make" me want to donate to a website. If a site proves useful, stable, and continues to just provide a service that others do not is when I'm willing to spend some money to keep it running.

The best thing this place can do in my opinion is get everything stable, stop with the sweeping overhauls and changes, and prove this place has a reason to exist and let the community grow into a place thats worth visiting more often than once or twice a week to check for updates.

thats why i was not going to add it :p

Hopefully as said before those with the ranks are still getting grandfathered in with the new ranks.

Otherwise the forum will have another mass exodus of members.

Anyway all I can think of would be more cosmetic options. Maybe exclusive themes, front's and so on.

Yeah, that's a valid concern. On the other hand, is there an issue with developers boosting their own games, like some kind of sponsored slot? Limiting how often a game can get boosted, or even auctioning the slots could be doable.

Can't disagree with this one. I think the site is looking better than ever, but the past month wasn't great.

What would make me visit the site more is if I got suggestions for games/content that align with my preferences. But I don't see how this kind of curation can get added, and filtering on tags is useful but limited.

can you explain what you mean about (and filtering on tags is useful but limited)

I've added a recommended tab, it is based off the prefix/tags of your bookmarked games in the latest updates page

For instance, if I filter Ren'Py games that don't have Big Tits and Big Ass, then I'm left with 1795 results. If I filter on Ren'Py games with "small tits", I get 116 results. When I filter on 'story-driven' Ren'Py games, I get two results.
I don't consider this a failure of the tag system but a side effect. Tags describe the content a game has, but not the central themes or format.
A kind of system that lets players rate/weigh how a tag relates to the game could change this (in an ideal world). If a game only has one character out of 10 with big tits, then the weight of this tag would be fairly low. If all characters have big ones, the weight would be high.
This, in turn, would let players look for games that have a low or high weight assigned to certain tags. If you're into lactation content, then you'd want to find games that not just feature it once during 20 hours of gameplay, but offer it fairly consistently.

ill see if i can improve the system based off what you said.

may be kind of hard tho if a game doesnt have the tags then it wont know

Absolutely. And weights would also change as a game gets updated, and won't represent reality. It's difficult to do this, and it's the idea behind steam curator groups. They're supposed to be communities of like-minded players who look for the same things in their games. We have a forum here, so anyone could start an unofficial group by creating a thread.

yeah 100% could be done if there was such a group.

What about making reviews more community-forming? If I agree with how someone rated a game, then I'm more likely to like games that they've rated highly, aiding in me discovering new games.
Is such a matching system even possible? I mean, Amazon does it with products, but Amazon also has tons of computing power.

hmm possible sure, but in due time when id like to add something like that, but not currently.

Welp, no new ranks for me then, too bad. Hopefully I don't miss out on too much fun.

Ive learned to stop using tags like this. The problem is filtering OUT tags does not work right. Because... most devs try hard to be super inclusive of tags. Example, incest, lesbian, big tits are 3 I can think of that are handle dthis way a lot. I see TONS of games where they have the lesbian tag and the only les content is some cashier the MC talks to once mentioning she is not into guys. Devs do shit liek this to get tags so they can show up on searches. Ive seen "loli" games with 99.99% lolis with the big tits tags. They will throw in some random NPc somewhere with fatbags to get the tag, but it has nothing to to do with the game. Ive also seen incest tags on games where the only incest is some short story some side character has about brother/sister playing when they were young. So the people that hate les or big tits filtering them out or ignoring them prob causes them to miss a lot of content they would be fine with. Sadly, for this reason, I dont filter out foot/scat/watersports/big-tits/etc shit that I dont want to see because I have learned that 99% of that content is either so small or obscure it doenst matter, or is avoidable.

Yeah, devs cast as wide a net as possible. This is fine to let people get an idea of all the content the game touches but makes it untrustworthy as a source of major themes.

Exactly. And if these extreme kinks aren't avoidable, there's usually a big red warning about it.

Still, it's an area of improvement. At the same time, I don't think asking users to rate or submit tags is workable either, because then it needs to be moderated. And you just KNOW it would get abused.

No, I want commenting on the system, but more to you and your habit of skipping based on tags. You might want to think about some of them before you skip a game based on them. Example, avoiding "big tits", dont skip the tags, but check the example renders. Same with les, check for vaginal penetration (although... some les only games will still have this for dildos/strapons, so not as easy to be sure about, but comments usually help give an idea).
