Even though 1.13 is the best version so far, for people who get bent out of shape over the latest updates it's easy enough to simply imagine that one or another version of this game is non-canonical or in an alternate universe, and then every version can exist simultaneously. Let's see what is pissing people off: reduction of content, scenes with the boy Meryon, perception of English language skills, broken save-states, changes of scenery for the characters, etc. It is really weird to me that any of those things prevent people from enjoying some version of this game (even the boy content is avoidable in 1.13). In this world of utter dogshit, that person Lasto is still out there somewhere making this loli game. For people who are able to get past their issues with this game you will be lucky.

So this is a weird take. I agree with very little of it, but I'll try to explain.

1. Reduction of content - It's always annoying when this happens, remakes etc, because of the fear of a dev losing sight of something, or ending up abandoning before anything happens, or anything new, depending on the title. +Neutral here.
2. Scenes with the boy - This is a dumb take, tbh. Why have a choice in the beginning, if that doesn't mean anything? For instance, if someone makes a game with ugh NTR in it, and you have a choice between non-NTR, and NTR in the beginning, you choose non, and just out of nowhere cuckshit happens. Wouldn't that warrant people being upset?
   Or if you have a game where there is very dark content, or not dark, and suddenly you just brutally rape someone, even though you didn't want that, and choices told you that that's not what was going to happen on that path? +Opposed here. Tags matter, content choices should matter.
3. English language skills - I've played games with some rather engrish MTL stuff, and that gets silly very fast, but a little bit of grammatical errors usually doesn't harm anyone. If people are upset about this, offer to help correct it for free. +Agreeing here.
4. Broken save states - Can be annoying depending on how it is. Luckily this game is not very long yet, and the ctrl-button exists. For longer games, with tons of choices (or ones with un-skippable scenes) it's way worse. +Neutral here overall, but agreeing in this case.
5. Changes of scenery - Not really sure what this means exactly, but since it's a remake, things change, and unless there's a clear drop in quality, or something, not really sure what there is to be mad about tbh. +Agree here.

I do also agree in applauding Lasto for keeping on making the game, and technical things can be fixed. He just has to be careful with including scenes you didn't ask for when making choices and such.
So far it's good, but the non-canon picture club thing should be a separate thing from the main menu, it feels weird just adding it on after the current update is done. Scene was good though!

You've made at least 4 posts saying how you rage quit this game, others would like to see posts of people making valid critical comments or extending praise for the work, while you seem to keep forgetting you've already left the chat dissatisfied. Im not sure how I feel about the entire plot rework. I got used to being the photographer for so long, some scenes got changed too, and the "NG+ walkthrough" got removed.

I don't mind the developer seeing problems with his done work and fixing it but this feels like a reboot of the idea.

They are still working on it, but I think it's better in every way, and I love the work they put into it. After all the reviews, I decided to check out what's actually in the game. Indeed, the Helen Patch has the hallmarks of a cuckold patch. Mentioning fun with other men, or even encouraging fun with them, is clearly cuckoldry. Logically, not only should there be no mention of other men in this route, but they also shouldn't exist in that timeline at all. No brother, no cousin, no boy on the beach (it's better if there are two girls). Not to mention what happens after the ending (only fans of the Marion Patch will appreciate that, for others it will be a sign of disrespect and ridicule.).

But this is all about logic, and not about how a developer should make his game. It is up to him to decide what and how. At least the models and animations in the game are good.

And yes, there are some bugs with missing images.

Because when enough time passes for the people to get used to the game and get into it there's a rework. This new one having gay sex scenes even if you pick the girl and talks about NTR. Those things weren't in the previous version of the game.
