I think that the solution is to:

2. make a DB query about the amount of coins for each user;
3. INSERT the results in the current user's data table.

Most people won't come in this thread, most of us don't remember the precise number of coins we had. I just know many of us collected them hundred thousands for a long time. It's the right thing to just restore them for everybody as they were.

Did not know the bank was broken by it seems I lost around 150 coins I put in either yesterday or the day before and when I went to check today it said 0 coins.

Anyway to get them back as you can see my post count for new user should be able to get the right amount of coin numbers.

this issue was before the corruption database, so if i could do that no of this shit would have happened, but i cant because i do not have a previous backup of the DB, maybe apollo does but i am waiting for him to come around.

Seriously, just make a 100% paid site and be done with it, this is crap. That way, anyone who doesn't care about this store stuff, coins, casino, whatever the hell it is, can just leave and never come back. Forcing people to read things they're not interested in only makes them disgusted, resentful and hateful towards the site, is that the goal? Or has this site just become a boring and irritating pastime?

if i did not force announcements on stuff people hate me, if i force announcement on stuff people hate me, if i dont ask for donations server will not be renewed, if i ask for donations for server renew people call me a greedy pig, so in that logic im damned if i do damned if i dont.

You can just click the mandatory thread, go back, download your damn game, and leave. It’s only a few extra steps, it’s not a big deal.

If I lose access to the games+, the site will be useless, so it can go to hell.
Sorry, but it's becoming a torment to come here, how can I be active in a place that I have more and more apathy and contempt for being in?
Seriously, if you want to ban me, I'll find another place to download the games+. The way it is, it's irritating, frustrating and agonizing to be here.

Community Feedback and Ideas

Now onto other business.

One of the biggest things I want right now is actual feedback from the community.

What do you all want to see added, improved, or brought to LewdCorner?

@Haywoodspartan and I are actively working on ways to improve the site and better help the community overall, and I want to hear what people actually want instead of blindly throwing random things at the wall.

That can include things such as:

• New sections
• New addons
• Quality of life improvements
• Better community features
• Better content organization
• Anything else you think would genuinely improve LC

If you have ideas, post them. This is the time to bring them up.

The Goal for LewdCorner

At the end of the day, my goal is simple.

I want LewdCorner back to the level it was at in 2023 / 2024, but rebuilt with better systems, better structure, and better long-term planning.

That means keeping the spirit of old LC alive while improving it with things like:

• The Latest Updates page
• The Ideas page
• A better structured economy
• A stronger backend
• Better support and development from both Apollo and Haywood as sysadmins

The goal is not just to bring LewdCorner back.

The goal is to bring it back better, smarter, and in a way that actually lasts.

You asked for ideas and feedback, so let me offer mine: I think you are focusing on and spending money on the wrong things. Donations should only be requested for required site maintenance like server and domain name costs. It seems to me like you want to keep changing the look of the site into what you like, and asking everyone to else to pay for it. The site works fine in my opinion, so there is no need to keep changing things, especially when it all keeps costing more money. Leave it alone.

If you want LC to become more popular, then focus on being the first to leak game updates. If LC starts releasing new games or updates Before other sites like F95, then this site will become much more popular. Stop waiting for the developers to share the updates, or "borrowing" the already leaked updates from other sites. Have them leaked here first.

Perhaps some of the extra donation money can be used to purchase those updates and leak them here as LC Exclusives. Perhaps there can be some sort of voting system where members vote on which game updates they want leaked, and the games with the most votes result in the Admin's of LC purchasing the update and sharing it here first.

Make people from F95 and other competing sites come here to get the updates because they can't get them anywhere else.

Another somewhat similar idea would be allowing members to donate towards an update. For example, if a new update for some game just got released and it costs $10, create a donation link on that game's page to allow members to donate towards they update. If 10 members want to donate $1 each, then once the $10 goal is achieved, the Admin's of LC use that $10 to purchase the update themselves and release it for everyone on the site.

Ultimately there should be more of a focus on being the First or Only site to find a game release. If this is the only place people can get something, then they will join and become more active here. Nobody is going to join just because you improved the site's interface or update page.

i actually like these ideas, also the first comment about using donations to change the look of LC, i stopped about 3/4 months ago hiring devs to do shit and i now just do it myself, the changes recently are either from apollo. haywood or myselfs coding logic, either way i like that idea about game update and community polling for game updates ill see if i can code something for it.

I get why you’re asking, but this is not the same kind of change as before.

This would not be me digging into XenForo core and risking another site-wide mess. It would be more like how pages such as the Games page, Latest Updates, or the Ideas page work, basically a standalone page that connects to the site without being heavily built into XenForo itself.

More specifically, the idea is for it to function similar to the Ideas page, but tied into the donation system and showing a live donation feed. Since it would mostly operate as its own standalone section, the risk is a lot lower than directly altering core forum functionality.

So yes, I understand the concern, but this setup is far safer, far more controlled, and not the kind of change that should require tearing the site apart to make it work.

Don't let the haters get you down. Announcements are great for updates, and for people how don't like them it's just two clicks to return to the forums, they'll live. I for one have started to kind of like the currency system you have in place, makes the site unique and interesting. Feels rewarding when you get more than just a "like" notification for interactions.
