Tiktok still leads on algorithm, really throws me stuff that I'll be watching for a bit then move on. Been especially fond of those AI narrations lately, but hate the fact that a lot just reposts without the entire story.

Whereas YT Shorts are a hit or miss, but does present more of the ones that I actually subscribed to. Tiktok for some reason stops recommending me tiktokers that I followed on the For You part, I have to go to the Following area for that, which is annoying. So now I don't follow tiktokers at all.

Only downside of tiktok imo you'll barely see your followed people on your for you page.

I would say post alternatives but there is like what 4 now at most?

I made a tiktok account a while back just to try it, but didnt care for it. Not long ago that account got permantly banned, so I wont even touch it. YT shorts tends to repeat things too much, so I dont use that either.

You need to watch stuff and skip stuff for the algorithm to know what you and you don't like, then eventually it just gets you good stuff after that..

I dont pay any attention the goings on of the internet. but the overall quality has reached a point that it is more of a hassle to use it. before to long I probably will leave it all together soon.

I've liked so much terrible shit on both insta and twitter that it basically always provides engaging content

I also just don't care for short content. When I do watch stuff I'm working on various projects and i will listen to it in the background. and short stuff just doesnt really seem to work for that.
