It's not even finished yet. Is there any clue as to when this game will be finished?

Update 0.52.2 came out and I think the guy got himself kicked from almost every platform thanks to some dumb shit he thought was a good idea to be added. Some things are just unacceptable and he did just that.

all right you piqued my interest. the game was already out there in terms of gore/extreme kinks, so I can't imagine what could have broke the camel's back. I sent an update request to mods.

Edit: okay, I see what you mean. It definitely goes beyond any other game I've seen. It's like the Serbian Film of AVNs. It includes

one scene of "newborn porn," like a reference to the "serbian film" movie. NOT perpetuated by the MC, just witnessed.

I think that scene wasn't necessary at all, but I hate censorship. I hope the dev finds a way to continue, cuz even without that one scene, it's already going to be in the crosshairs of many.

lol ok that scene didnt even come to mind when i was trying to think of what was added that was 'unacceptable'. I think people need to really dive into the world of H-manga Guro some more before admonishing this AVN, because this is tame in comparison.
I mean its one CG still frame, not even in 'full view', 1 of a few passing rooms the MC visits in an ongoing series of frames whilst perusing someone.

Still, the response to this AVN does show why this genre is so very rare in AVNs, for better or worse.

I'm confused. How is anyone running this latest version? Regardless of how far back I load a prior Save, as soon as I get into the new content, after one brief scene the game runs into an unrecoverable script error in the phone script. I've tried unren to no avail. I'm able to unren the rpas into rpycs but I've tried four different unrens and they all failed to decompile the rpycs. Yet, comments on here seem to indicate that at least some people are seeing all this supposedly new content in the update. What's the trick to getting it to run? (Please don't tell me I have to start a whole new game - it's far too long for that)

I mean I ain’t gonna lie everything else I’ve been fine with or gotten over lmao but I saw the baby thing I was like “tf is that even necessary?!” That’s also just a massive clear redline for hosting sites and players alike. This game got taken down from a number of sites I saw it on a few hours after it got released.

I think old saves dont work due to changes throughout the game, like the addition of AI augmented animations, and the addition of the gallery that unlocks as you play.

Okay, thank you. That is disappointing. I have hundreds of old saves that will essentially be lost. As a retired developer myself, it was always a necessity in my line of work to make every new version of a project backwards compatible, especially where saved data was concerned - or at the very least provide an upgrade conversion utility.

maybe im stupid or blind but i cant find the button to start a new game. only options are to continue or load. can someone help me? ive already deleted the save and cache folder in the game files but when i click "continue" i always end up where i left about a year ago.

Nevermind, found it.
Deleted save and cache in the gamefiles and also the save folder in AppData/Roaming/Renpy/Redroom and now I can start from the beginning.

Deleted save and cache in the gamefiles and also the save folder in AppData/Roaming/Renpy/Redroom and now I can start from the beginning.

Perhaps a little late for you, but here's a trick I use when I'm forced to 'restart' a game - which sucks. I treat it like a Reworking (because that's usually the reason given by the dev for breaking the old saves)...

1) I keep the prior version copy of the game but make a new copy of the game for the new version and rename it 'blah (Reworked)'
2) I delete the local saves folder from the Reworked copy BUT I do not delete the Roaming/Renpy saves or the local saves folder from the prior version of the game.
3) I drop into the game folder of the Reworked copy a one-liner .rpy file with this line here: define config.save_directory = "RedRoom-Reworked" (as an example)

What this does is starts a brand new save history for the new Reworked version without deleting or touching or invalidating the old save history for the prior version. So I can visit old saves by running old version of game and visit new saves by running new version of game and as far as Renpy is concerned they're just treated as two separate games with independent save histories.

It unlocks the gallery. I think the gallery was in the main menu.
