I can hardly see what i am typing here sorry 4 errors

The colors of everything is off some text will not show up until you mouse over them and the entire site is way to small.

I am having a hard time reading everything is there a way to revert back to the old theme that was meant for desktops not this mobile look?

I also would love an option. Due Diligence, I checked:
-Settings, User Style, Profile Block and Preferences (the other tabs didn't seem relevant). Couldn't find anything.
If I missed it: I apologize and where is it please?
If there is no such option and this is how it is now... well... shit.

There isn't an option like that and you need to stick with it till tomorrow. Apollo is sleeping, Heisenberg is sleeping and I won't be logging into their admin accounts without permission just to change this. Apollo said he will be improving the purple color tomorrow so it will be more readable.

Try to press this button, it doesn't look that bad on my second 1080p monitor:

I do not have 1080p anymore just large 1440p 4k panels

I mean that by default this theme looks ok in 1080p, but if you have bigger resolution or widescreen try the button I just showed you.

Not a fan of the new style. Garbage really.

+1 for having the option to revert back.
It's not that easy, the entire forum was rebuilt, it was needed for add-ons and so on to work properly moving forward. Unfortunately that also means the UI changes as well, there are just a few default themes. These can of course be edited to better fit but it will take some time. (I'm not saying this is 100% true, I'm in no way part of this, just what I've picked up).

Please correct me if I'm wrong here.

I join the authors of the previous comments. The blaring colors on the main page of the forum are not only annoying, but also make it difficult to really focus on the text. At the same time, I have a strong suspicion that such sharp color transitions can adversely affect people's eyesight. At least in the user settings, it would be very nice to give the opportunity to switch, if not to the previous UI, then at least to some kind of minimalistic version of the current version, without the bright thick dividing strips, which make the forum page resemble a table for checking the eyesight of railway workers.

+1.

I just want the basic ass muted colors back.

Idk if you have ever been part of upgrades to software in the work place before, but all of this stuff is USUALLY done in test environments before dropping into production. You want your users to have as smooth of experience as possible in transitions. Like you test it first and see oh shit all of our styles dont work. Lets fix those those before launching.

Not just saying fuck it drop it in live and we will fix shit as we see it over the next few weeks.

Thank you very much for the question. I've worked in tech for many years and am well aware of test/prod environments but this is not really the case here. Or well, sure they could have changed it all first in a testing/playground environment but to what use? Then the site would have been broken in the mean time. The update to xenforo (don't remember the version) comes with new default themes. It's just a matter of changing it but ppl need some sleep also 😄

The site was fine then they broke it multiple times

It might have appeared that way but the code was being hold together by a band-aid.

Seems the new coin system was the final straw that broke the band-aid.

Looks like crap

Anyone want to listen to some DEEP PURPLE? 💜 💜 😅😅🤣🤣

Meh it's better then the other three I seen yesterday.

The white and blue one hurt my eyes, and the second one didn't even fit the screen with text errors.

There was even a red or green one as well that looked terrible.:ROFLMAO:

Now they are essentially holding hostage new themes for peoples money.

Everything that was said about updating, testing, all that shit is so far out the window in less than 2 weeks.

Make a change to the site, everyone fucking hates it, and then sell the "fix" for it. Come on man
