Of course I guess if one really wanted to play dirty and do the equivalent of providing an anonymous tip to the cops to get rid of your drug dealing competition one could just report them to their host or their DDoS protectioon provider (usually Cloudflare) and have them shut down the way this site was over and over before it was "soft-paywalled". Those AVNs are not public for that exact reason.

now imagine what a great outcome we would have, the only sites that share those games attacking each other, you never know which one is online because when one gets online it gets reported by the other, what's next? we will go against A-F too because their games are free, while F-5 keeps laughing by the content being basically extinct for pure childish behavior?
let's pretend that a soft paywall is really effective against white knights, how can you protect yourself when you're attacking your own community? your own former staff?

Nobody is attacking or reporting anyone, it would hurt both sides. There is no hate towards the other site nor it's administration, the reason for frustration was large part of their community is about hating LC and our owner on personal level. Situation calmed down, I can assure everyone it's not our intention to claim monopoly and treat anyone choosing other site as an enemy and I am sure that other site also doesn't want it's whole identity be built around hate towards us. Both communities are built around same interests and tastes, it's better to get along than fight each other.

its not that he's lying but i do believe he got something confused. We don't rips newly released games/updates unlike other sites we have a 2 week (14days) grace period for devs. as in we won't touch the game/update (even if someone gives us direct links for it) until those 14 days are up.

So that is 100% a lie, since Apartment 69 was released today to paid members and it was up here 10 min after. Is there anything the mods/admins wont lie about?

If that was true we wouldn't have a thread designed specifically for people asking to recover things that were evaporated from the internet, like Windows version of Stalker x Stalker that we now have only thanks to someone who created it from Linux version.

I am afraid challenges will never disappear because of type of content we have, but we certainly can learn to deal with them better.

just looked into this looks like all similar sites updated it around the same time. We do have an exception for the 2 weeks rule, if it leak on other similar sites we then release too, but we won't leak first.

but feel free to try to find a post where i "lied"


EDIT: i should note sometimes uploaders make mistakes or their new and don't fully know the rules yet (as in their in training) so there might be a slip in the 2 weeks rule at one point. but if anyone notices this feel free to report it so we can fix it.

Eff 95 is run 10000x better than this site over the last year, easily. At least that place functions, doesn't beg for money, and has working updates page let alone actually has uploaders to get new games on it. Yea they have a few power trippy mods that get in the comments section every so often, but reading those pages people deserve to have their shit comments deleted.

I will say you have some very good points.

Our downside here is thst we are working on some very old school software that if we updated to new stuff we would have to remake the hole site.

Think MySpace vs Facebook. They also have a much larger community and dev team due to the less perverse nature of the games.

All I'm saying is. Don't be too hard on us we are a very small team and often have to outsource. Budget its not my department but big steps have been taken to almost half it now
