As for the high ground comment, the ground LC is on is the floor in hell, it's been doing nothing but alienating the community to a point where the members want to or have jumped ship to other sites. (And about that security part and outside harm, the harm and security problems is coming from inside the house: It was proven that Heisenberg gave himself access to DMs with other users awhile ago just to join their conversation to post something.. (that is a huge security problem))

I want all these sites to succeed, more options out there is better for everyone.
as for that second part, i did that to troll users, also i literally developed addons to ensure no one is posting child porn on or in private messages.

edit: troll (i posted in it and made myself known to freak users out a bit.), because i was ensuring nothing was being posted because we have had members post either tor links, or links to fileupload sites containing such content, i use to read weekly all pms, but now have a bot doing it looking for keywords mainly. (had a bot, bot isnt being ran and hasn't been for awhile.)

Hey everyone, Apollo here.

So… the last two days were a ride, huh?
LewdCorner decided to take an unscheduled vacation and left all of us staring at annoying error pages.

Good news though — the site is finally back online.
Heisenberg and I tag-teamed the whole mess, wrestled it into submission, and got LewdCorner breathing again. No heroics, no chest-thumping — just two devs cleaning up a digital crime scene.

Now, small disclaimer:
You’ll probably notice a few things still missing or looking weird. Thread icons, some visuals, a few loose screws here and there — all of that is already on our fix list. We’ll be patching the broken bits one by one.

But enough about the outage.
Let’s talk about the actually exciting stuff.

🚀 What’s Coming Next

🔧 Automatic Post Bot
We’re building a bot that will fetch new games from trusted sources and drop fully formatted posts straight into LewdCorner. No delays, no manual grind — just automatic fresh content on tap.

🖥️ LewdCorner Launcher
Yup, the launcher is finally entering active development again. Cleaner design, faster updates, smoother experience. You’ll get your games and updates without ever touching the browser if you don’t want to.

📜 Latest Updates Page
We’re adding a page that will track game updates, newly released builds, patches, and other changes in one place. No more hunting across the forum for what was updated — it’ll all be centralized.

---

Thanks for sticking around during the downtime.
We’re not just restoring LewdCorner — we’re leveling it up.

More updates soon.

Contrary to what you said above, there is a 0% chance this was not written by AI.

And look, I've tried to be polite and patient through this entire ordeal. But don't turn around and get mad that "those sites were taking paid content from us" when you host pirated games. If you only have a moral compass when you're the one being hit, then that's not flying the jolly roger, that's "Rules are for thee, but not for me...". And what you mean by "we're only going to scrape free sources", you mean "I'm only going to scrape pirate content from people who make it available for free".

And just be honest man, members+ isn't about safety, its about keeping the lights on. If it was *truly* about safety, then you wouldn't be taking money from us because financial transactions are traceable and attributable to the user who's 'donating' for members+. You are de-anonymizing users.

Again, I'm not mad that you're taking money for members+. Nobody is going to be upset at you being honest about needing to cover the operating costs. What I am mad about is the misdirection and deceitful language here at play. I'm mad at the impulsive decisions, the subsequent community outrage, and then the impulsive backpedaling that happens ad nausea everytime you have a brand new idea about how to fix no this other fix, no this time for real, replace, I mean delete, I mean nevermind keep activity coins the same for now. FFS man, just delete the interest system, and rebalance the tokens you get.

*edit* fixed a typo

We are not hiding games+ because we want to profit but because of safety reasons. When other site pulls that content from us using bot and just put it in it's raw form with no restrictions they do not only create a safety hazard for themselves, but also for us. Sadly we do not live in times where we can afford to freely spread our interests, times are getting worse and worse for both developers and sites hosting content we all want to see on LC. "Buying" m+ is just an alternative way to show you are trustworthy because white knights will not spend a dime just to fuck with anyone.

This was always LC's priority - safety. Maybe we do not have a high ground compared to other similar sites, but at least we try to put up walls that will protect it's community from outside harm, and when someone just spreads stuff that we do without caring about any security, that impacts us all.
Sorry, I'm going to have to call bullshit on this but only a small part of it.

Reading through, I don't disagree with you on the majority of it but one thing; People scraping from LC does not pose a risk to you. At all. Do I think LC needs better protection? Yes. 100%. In the end, we're all pirates. We need to look after each other, not fight against them. The key is to learn. The more we learn, the more we solidify ourselves into being better. Does this make sense?
you really think i would nuke the site over that, no the site was nuked because of either an addon, apollo testing the post bot, so dont you dare think i fucking nuked the site because of what happened.
For this one, bub, remember, people will complain, regardless. But what they actually want in this situation is better explanation. The whole thing has people paranoid as they don't know what's in store. So, right now, they are going to assume the worse. (Sorry, normally, I'd keep this private)

i think that was meant to be for me not apollo.

I'm not using an ai for fucks sake. It's just how i talk.

Use one of those ai detectors or something
I get you man. I quite often have a somewhat archaic manner of 'talking' when typing.

dont hate on apollo to much, he is literally new and is only going off what has been happening on the backend, im not sure if he thinks scraping bots from other sites had something to do with the site going down, i am not sure but i hope not, ill ask him tho

No hate. @Apollo I promise. Sorry if I sounded harsh. I'm finally getting back my blunt side a little. But nothing I say is considered a jab at anyone here.

I just don't want to see the site go down. We're all needed, more than we know.

i think that was meant to be for me not apollo.

The first sentence about it being AI written was, because he denied that the post was written by AI, which I don't believe for a second. The rest of the post, yes was intended to be more aimed at you.

i never had an issue with sites scraping us, the only part i had an issue with was that sora and other members were opening saying leaving x site, if someone is going to scrape us there is not a chance in hell i am going to 100% stop them, so why bother trying to stop it.

members+ was for safety at the time, because we were being marked by white knights, but removing the system now would piss people off that did donate/earn the rank, so i can really remove it without a major fallback on realistically chargebacks.

this is why i have apollo who is now admin & will hopefully fix up LC.

I would rather have "Yeah that sucked, sorry about that. But we're trying to fix things going forward. But we've still got some good news.", over

i was going to make the announcement, but everytime i do everyone disregards my post or is pissed at me and will bring shit that doesnt have anything to do with the thread.

I never understood people who say "it was written by AI". Like, why would you say that? Do people really forget english is a secondary language for most, there will always be some weird wording either because of that or just personal quirks. I talk a lot with Apollo in dms and I can assure you he is not an AI, I don't even know why would anybody think that just because of his announcement.

Members+ is absolutely about safety. Heisenberg is the only person responsible for finances, from what I know he doesn't let anyone else get access to any money and he always tries to make transactions as safe and as disconnected from LC as possible.

I must agree with you some decisions were made hastily and were not prepared, that's why there are now "PR people" who help Heisenberg with making decisions. We will do our best to be better and we will think about every decision more carefully.
Sorry, I'm going to have to call bullshit on this but only a small part of it.

But I think there absolutely is a risk. 2D games are already frowned upon, making some of the 3D games be completely visible to everyone is just asking for trouble. I think you know well how some of developers here ended because of stuff they were making, now there is even more risk involved. Plus content, especially the western part of it seems to suffer the more exposed it is. I don't hate these other sites because they exist, I just think they are making things worse.

I understand your plight, and I have the same struggles in the things that I managed, but at the end of the day, you have to consider "Is this following message important enough to disrupt the user's experience". "We're working on this thing" is something I'd say no, it's not. "Sorry for the outage", absolutely not because the user is already a bit perturbed by the outage in the first place. Asking for donations? Think of it like this. Imagine if girl scouts or boy scouts, instead of standing off to the side and politely asking with signs- instead they stood in front of the doorway and made you walk around them. I think the donation counter, that was a live update of how much donation money had been given, and how much was needed for the end of the month was a fantastic idea, because it plead to generosity, and didn't 'get in peoples way'.

thats actually funny because the girl scouts in my area do block you XD, either way i get what u mean, also that donation tracker isnt live, i have to manually adjust it for now, because the donation are not connected to this site for anonymity reasons, its connected to 3 other sites.

In my opinion it's the other way around - if someone is not interested in news clicking a button that takes you to them and clicking back takes 3 seconds. Different people have different opinions on what's news worthy and what's not, I think forcing people into burden of taking away three seconds of their life is better than community being confused about things all the time because they missed something important.

Danger for themselves, not us. Otherwise, we'd be taken down when Proud Father Dev was arrested as that was a big deal. Especially considering everything lead to us and a few other sites that hosts this game. (I mean... they took his computer)

We'll be okay as far as that goes. That's the part I worry we're deluding ourselves into and also the part that scares other people away, especially potential donators.

The only thing I hope for going forward is that the live site isn't used as a testbed anymore. Make a copy and play with it all you like, but only push updates to the LIVE SITE when all the kinks are ironed out. But not those kinks, we like those ones.

I can confidently tell you that the vast majority of the userbase disagrees with you. If your 'work around' is to just click them and click back in 3 seconds, then why are you forcing people to read it in the first place? That's just an argument to triviality. And nine times out of ten it wasn't actually that important, where a simple banner at the top of the screen could have been a better communicator. How many times do you open an app and it forces your screen gray and says "Hey come check out our new features!" and you just grumble and immediately close it out because all you wanted to do is open notepad++ to edit a text file really quick. I see people complain in discord all the time about it.

I believe there should be balance between everyone looking out for themselves and site taking care of that. I strongly believe both things should be present. On LC forcing people to earn their access to plus content is at least a minimum protection to weed out troublemakers. Next, we have Heisenberg, who personally made effort to distance donations from LC to ensure additional safety. Only one person managing it is also additional safety barrier.

I donated to LC in the past and I agree it's safe, however I don't think I would trust a site that just allows access to content like this to everyone. To me it looks like these sites take safety only as secondary objective, and different countries have different laws and they change very fast. Westy had real stuff, we was a dev and he is from Australia, that's quite different than your average user here. I consider LC safe, but that other sites? I will just stay here.

however I don't think I would trust a site that just allows access to content like this to everyone.
