It's partly to further the distance between the censored patreon version and the uncensored one on subscribestar, and partly because the name wouldn't make much sense for the patreon version since no one is related to anyone else in it.

Hard to tell as the usual update schedule was once or twice a year. It's been over a year so it is worrisome.
