Very interesting stuff... I'm just about to release a game in alpha state and want to be friendly on every platform and don't want to get into the drama of it all - but also want a little measure of control of the distribution. There will be two versions... standard (Games) and taboo (Games+). Don't think I want to go any further. Anyway, thank you for the responses.
That's helpful info. Don't care to monetize this project as money really isn't a big deal to me, but when I release a patch Fuck95 will boot the game... that's not good. It won't be a 'patch' per say, but a whole branch. So the standard edition will be missing the entire taboo portion (the patch will likely be pretty big as it will be two files. A renpy and an archive holding all the taboo images/sounds/dialogue). The standard edition will be completely clean with what would look like arbitrary hooks that will of course be activated if the taboo files exist in the /game/ folder.
If you don't care for monetezation, all you have to be cautious about are lolis on F.95.zone. Their Rule7 says "no prepubescent character(s)", which means they aren't allowed to look like actual children and the ages have to be over 14 too.
So as longs as they have small boobs, pubes and/or any waist/hip ratio that isn't a child one, it has a chance to be allowed there. 3D is viewed much more strictly then cartoon/anime. Some older games like Babysitting Cream getting more leeway because they are old (I think it's from before 2006) and kinda cult games, that it's also a furry game certainly helps.
Shota games are more difficult to judge, because unlike lolis, you can't use boobs as an indicator, that's why those seem to get more leeway too.
Having a game with a loli-patch (or better two different versions) is not an issue on F.95.zone. It's allowed as long as the patch is not shared or talked about over there.
However, the problem is, that users can't keep quiet and WILL talk about it, as long as discissions about the loli stuff are only superficially, it is not a problem either.
But users will ask about the different versions and they will start to share links or sites where to find it, which both is against their rules. This will cause clean ups from the mods and if the users can't behave, which they often don't. the mods have to lock up the thread. Those kind of actions are always the fault of users, because they have to "talk about the fight club".
Proud Father had a loli patch and was allowed because of that. First he was banned for a long time because of Rule7, then he started to use patches and was allowed again. Mods and staff were fine with it, but had to delete shared loli-patches all the time.
But after some updates Westy fucked up every single F.95-version, they either were extremly buggy and full of game breaking errors or remnamds of the loli stuff where still in there. People had to use the loli-patch for the game to work at all and after a while he even stopped making those patches and for a short time the full loli-version was on F.95 until the staff had to take the game down again. That was not long before he got busted in Australia.
Other games try to "sneak in" younger characters after they got approved, like in Such a sharp pain (with the I think 8 year old?), but sooner or later that gets reported and the game removed.
Currently new loli games have a harder time getting accepted over there, but it's still possible, just check their latest updates and search for 'loli' you'll find some games made with DAZ or Koikatsu/Honey Select 2 over there that are from this year.
If you are unsure, you should contact one of the mods Lerd0, Bob69 or BaasB. I know those three upload non Rule7 breaking loli stuff all the time.
