For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward. I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward. - Jack Of Blades

I really hope that it's not dying. LC is my favorite adult gaming site!

@OP actually you can help. If you have a good bandwidth, you can become uploader. Take the games from other sites and upload them here. Preferably with a compressed version!

its coming back just watch. the chaos

Hopefully not! Stopped using the site for like a year after the membership thing, but giving it another chance now.

Please, let me earn Member+ first - then you can R.I.P!😄
Joke, this site is amazing, full of great games and interesting threads!

Dying no but as it stands right now it's on life support starting next month. So the site owner may have to pull the plug eventually.

That's despite claiming they wont let the site die, but costs and other problems may be the final nail in the coffin.

Thanks, you're one of the members I wanted to hear from.

Considering that the OP posted this almost 9 months ago and LC is still here and new posting continues would indicate that it is not.

Not necessarily, think of a website like a business, a business may last several years while slowly
going down hill from various problems it is plagued by until the owner closes the business down
or sells it, Heisenberg is on record stating he would like to sell LC.

There are various issues that the owner has been plagued by, one is the expenses, it was $2800
a month to run LC, the owner has decided to downgrade the service [I think the downgrade
may begin in October ? ] $1485 a month now. The owner has had to pay money out of his own
pocket to make the $2800 monthly costs for LC, he is on record stating he will not pay out of
pocket anymore, hence the service downgrade.

The owner also implied he will not delete P5, but then went on to say; don't be surprised
if one day I stop renewing it. P5 was created to bring in more donations [money to
keep LC going].

So the main questions are how manageable will the downgraded service be to users [customers]?
Also if he does decide to no longer renew P5 will it cause a severe loss in donations
to keep LC going? Or will the reduced price makeup the difference?

The owner has been through an extreme amount of stress, one issue is hiring devs
and paying them money to fix things, only for them to not fix the things they were paid to fix.

So while the website still stands to this day, the owner has had an incredible amount of
difficulty. According to Drakkon the difficulty began in 2024 with a shift from an entirely
gaming website to other things, which I could tell, as I often referred to these difficult
moments as the Lewd apocalypse.

Sadly, this is a possibility.

What about getting rid of Cloudfuck? It causes problems with sites quite often.

It's time to remove anything that's not a game and get back to what the purpose the forum started out for.

At this point though I'm guessing there are no hosts that will host this site cheaply because of the content.

I use to run a similiar forum but for regular games. not a pirate one just discussions and it cost me $400-500 a year at best.

Everything you said is spot on, except one, I would question the P5 statement.
P5 is dead, contributers are pulling their stuff from there or have done so already.
Heisenberg is selling tickets to an emtpy theatre thats not playing a movie.
As highlighted here.

There is some content buy aye most members have deleted their creations. As it stands those who pay for access it's not worth it.

Just go to A-T-F and join if you want the 3D art and movies, but even they have restrictions against lifelike porn.

It helps that site is also self-hosted and not using a paid host. Otherwise they would facing the same problems.

Wish it was a bit more user friendly when looking for games though, especially for us android users.
