So WTF is all this shit actually meant to be and what is it supposed to stand for?

This thread deals with the bad and less nice sides of this forum.

He stands for:
Anyone who is dissatisfied, disappointed or even angry about conditions, lack of transparency or mismanagement and annoyances.
And all other unpleasant things that you have encountered or will encounter during an occasional visit or daily interaction with this site.
We are the guys who have the balls to voice criticism and say what's on our minds, we're not ass-kissers.
We are not afraid to stick our heads out of the window because it might be stormy outside.

To put it simply and concisely:
It's a place of sorrow and a meeting point for problem finders and problem solvers.
This is a place for members who want to help the community grow, create a more beautiful home and improve the user experience.
A place to point out problems and to help and support in solving them.

He does not stand for:
This isn't a place for people who just think this site sucks or want to destroy it, because they don't like the content or the Persons on or behind the page.
We are people who rebel against the "FUCKIN' KING" and his court, but we do not want to overthrow him, burn down his palace and banish him from his/our kingdom.
We are not ungrateful.
We are freedom fighters, not terrorists or martyrs.
We discuss our different opinions, but we don't want to fight each other.
We do not accept shit posts of all kinds!!!
We do not accept hate speech in any manner whatsoever!!!

Stay objective, polite and respectful towards each other.
So do not do to others what you would not want done to yourself!

The topic is wide-ranging, so don't be afraid to step outside the box. (We are already off-topic)
As long as you stick to the rules, no posts will be censored, shortened or deleted by the Mods.
No one will be punished or mistreated simply because they hold a different opinion than a staff member.

That means:
"No direct insults and no argue for the sake of arguing."
"Opinions are okay, attacks are not."

Opinions are okay, attacks are not.

well, my initial intention was exactly to 'challenge' you, in a friendly way, to point my mistakes so I could correct them. But I was running against the time, thinking that hard work alone could solve everything. Well, it was enough to prove some of my points and I'm pretty satisfied, but things are getting... complicated

if you're open to an honest advice, please be aware that will sometimes take offense on your words because of that. Might not be intentional, but depending on how you word your feelings, you can imply things and offend people. So try to take this in consideration when someone seems to be rude to you without any apparent reason.
