A lot of valid points are made with the changes here, but I fear that the effect will be that the people I engage with most often here on a regular basis will begin only posting in the p4 thread, and this thread will mostly dry up and the m+ and p1 threads will remain just as dry. Gonna make it harder for newer users in the end given they’ll have less people/posts to engage with. Especially those of us who aren’t so artistically gifted, but still want to participate in the community.

It's a bit concerning for activity to have numerous lurker threads to keep track of instead of having a go-to thread like this one. If the deal is that you get more ACs by participating in the higher tier sections, maybe instead higher ranks should give higher coin numbers irrespectively of section. That would avoid splitting attention.
Of course, my concern may be unfounded and people could be able to focus on numerous lurker threads just fine, but generally speaking I have little faith on people's attention spans..

I also hope not, but just pointing out what realistically is likely to happen. Those already with all ranks, sure they’ll be unaffected just like with all other changes, as they no longer need coins. But their time will be stretched thinner with four semi active threads vs. one very active thread.
Those with P4 saving for P5, why would they post here for less coins vs. in the P4 thread? “Just post everywhere and it’s more coins total” which is true, if you have time to be active every day enough to backread four separate lurker threads. If it were me, I’d start with the P4 thread, read, react, and post, and ignore the rest if pressed for time. It’s less coins unless you live here.
No hate and I know it is hard to balance, just making the point. It’s like trying to climb a tree that keeps growing faster than you can climb it, with a bunch of people who climbed it when it was a sapling just sitting on top like
