We all have that one take. Maybe it’s something you’ve kept to yourself for years… or maybe you’ve been canceled in three different communities for it. Either way, drop it here. No judgment (okay, maybe a little).

I’ll go first:
Skyrim is mid without mods. I said it.

Alright, your turn. What hot gaming take are you secretly proud of?

Gaming takes let see....
Arthur Morgan was a horrible man same as all the men in the vanderline gang his little redemption tour did not come close to making up for his mistakes. John was a fool for not listening to his wife and leaving the gang also rdr2.
Gta 6 will most likely not live up to what gta 5 was in terms of impact/hype to deliverance ratio. Its been too long.
Ready or not sucks now but also sucked before the criminals were too good also its based on los angeles no one is booby trapping homes with grenades in la.
Minecraft developers are the worst developers with the ratio of money to developments put out how can a multibillion dollar gaming studio only offer 3 choices for upcoming content and then only be able to implement one.
Sports games have problably the worst fan base in mainstream gaming its full of dudes who are not atheltic who have deluded themselves into thinking they could coah or run a sports franchise let alone be a professional athlete.
Followed by wargame afficionados who think there special forces/generals.

Final Fantasy VII is a mid-tier RPG at best, and Cloud's personality is about as deep as a kiddie pool. The whole 'saving the planet' plot is played out, and Tifa's combat usefulness is straight-up laughable.

GTA VI hits hard.

Why you think it will deliver? i think someone called there story out as they pushed the game back again.
Fair take — I get the doubt, especially with the delay. But I still think GTA VI has the potential to hit hard for a few reasons:

  1. Rockstar doesn't usually miss when it comes to delivering a polished, content-rich experience. Even if it takes forever, the payoff tends to be worth it.
  2. The setting looks fresh, and if they really pull off a modern Vice City with dynamic characters and deeper storytelling (like they hinted), it could actually top GTA V in narrative.
  3. Also, tech-wise, this is gonna be their first GTA fully built for next-gen hardware — which means better AI, more immersive environments, and crazier systems overall.

I totally agree though, the impact vs hype ratio will be hard to match. GTA V was lightning in a bottle, so expectations are ridiculously high now. If GTA VI even comes close, I’ll call that a win.

Let’s see if Rockstar still has that magic or if we’re looking at another Cyberpunk 2077 situation.

Nah it gets too a point. 5 years yeah that wait might be worth it 10 years plus nah. were at what 12 years? Also i think point three nowadays mostly applies to pc. last console i played was xbox 1. and here is a real hot take i think vice city was the weakest gta game of that generation being the ps2 time generation.

Yeah, I get where you're coming from, but Rockstar's gotta bring their A-game this time.

I mean, GTA V was a masterpiece, but the hype's gonna be insane for VI. If it's just as good but not revolutionary, people are gonna be hella disappointed.

Vice City's a sick setting, though – can't wait to see how they do it

GTA V was mid at best... the last GTAs that were good were San Andreas and Vice City.

1) MTX's are a cancer to the gaming world, those who purchase them have been brainwashed from a young age to think them 'normal' and are contributing to the worsening of gaming as a whole.

2) PVP is a competition regardless of the 'type', be it direct, or indirect via things such as competing with others over achievements or collections, competition breeds hostility and resentment which results in a toxic community ..every ..single ...time.

About GTA 6 They might be Implementing new contecnt or added new mechanics

Last of us is overrated and ruined gaming. After Last of us every other game turned into movie games more cutscenes less gameplay games should be games not movies if i want to watch movies ill watch moives.

I didn't care for GTA 4. GTA games should (and have) be set in a sunny, warm setting to contrast the dark themes and violence. This bleak New York type of setting in 4 wasn't doing it for me. The story is good but the rest of it just isn't for me, and the driving is awful

To me 4 is easily worse than 5, SA, and VC

TIL that people doesn't know what controversial means.
